Current fantasy is a half-human going through some kind of 'monster puberty' as an adult. Like maybe whatever monster race their mother discreetly laid with has more longevity and develops slower, so for the first two decades + of life they just looked like a normal human, maybe with a few strange quirks or cravings here and there. Then the unnatural hunger starts. They surprise themselves, but can't help to control it. Then maybe two little horn nubs show up one day, or a handful of scales, or stumps that mark the beginnings of wings.

After months of uncontrollably gorging themselves on piles and piles of their new cravings, they're a whole new person. All of those extra nutrients have gone into their metamorphasis into whatever being they were meant to be. They're 8 feet tall now, with huge wings or horns or a long, chubby tail. And their appetite isn't going away any time soon, ofc 🫠

I have a real soft spot for people who are "bad at burping." I've been stuck on the idea of someone who has no idea what they’re doing trying to force up a burp, because god they need it out so badly.

Hopping to coax up the trapped air, they sit on their couch and gulp down a soda. Their belly gives a promising groan, and they open their mouth in anticipation, but the burp dies in their throat. It sits like a bubble of pressure in their chest, and they bring up a hand, trying to rub away the disgusting feeling. It doesn't help. They try pounding it with their fist. All they manage is a flurry of high, tight burps that they release into their closed mouth because they don't want to come out any other way. They press into their achy belly, working so hard to draw something up from deeper, but it hurts and produces only pathetic, wet gurgles. At a loss, they try to swallow air (as thought they have any idea how to do that). Still they get nothing but unsatisfying croaking sounds forced from the very top of their stomach.

Giving up, they resigning themself to their discomfort. They rise from the couch...only to be completely caught off guard by a long, pressurized belch that just breaths out of them. It drags on for full seconds, trailing off into a low moan of relief at the end. The sound's not loud, not deep, but it is absolutely desperate.

Okay so like. I do love when someone has consistently gigantic belches, but like.... there's just something extra special about someone who never let's out more than a tiny little hiccup burp suddenly having a very average burp and being like "Oh my god. I've never burped like that before." It's all relative ig. 🥴

Does anyone else like, *really* enjoy when a game gives you a debuff for eating too much? I bought Kingdom Come Deliverance a little while back because I've been wanting to play it and finally had some time last night. Lo and behold, if you make him eat too much you get like a "gorged" debuff and a little medieval pig icon shows up next to his health bar, + a stamina debuff implying that he's having trouble running/walking too much because of his full belly. 🫠🥴

The only other game I can think of with a 'too full' debuff off the top of my head is the nausea mechanic in Noita which is, uh, very different. But if anyone knows any other games that do something like this I'd love to hear about it, I know there are more out there but I can't remember which ones

I love kink writing with indulgently descriptive burps and belches where we go over the internal sensations, the sounds, the visuals, the reactions, all of it. Like, yes, put those creative writing skills to work. Tell me how they struggled to contain the gaseous pressure burbling up from their overfull stomach. You spend hours playing with your beloved bird, who is all too willing to innocently treat you to organic recordings of many deliciously forbidden sounds that you were never meant to hear. It remembers sighs, too, and short laughs and little comments, completely unfiltered, to the point you feel almost voyeuristic.

"Please excuse me... I must..." Malleus did not finish his sentence. He had already risen from his seat, levitated into the air, and sped for the exit, where he burst out into the chill winter air.

The cold helped him some. His insides were hot, terribly hot, and a feverish feeling was spreading to his head and extremities.

Years ago, Malleus might not have known what was wrong with him, or might have mistaken it for his atmospheric magic going out of control. Back then, he ate only foods curated carefully by royal chefs for a dragon's appetite. Today, his cafeteria lunch had been spectacularly greasy.

Amidst the sunlight glaring off the snow, he had put no thought into where he was fleeing, and found himself once more on the grounds of Ramshackle Dorm. He braced himself against a tree, placing a hand on his stomach. The cloth covering his abdomen simmered with heat, so strong he had to tell himself not to whip his hand away.

Dragon fire.

Malleus enjoyed breathing fire, when he chose to do it.

Now, it was if his body registered that he was no longer on highest alarm; his digestive system took back control of its workings after ceding to his racing nerves, and produced from Malleus a ribbon of fire, in one great belch.

He couldn't stop it. It seared up his tongue, forcing his jaw open, flowing from him in a deluge of viridian flame.

It tasted different from usual, not unlike the food he had eaten.

Forlornly, he thought of how other creatures could enjoy a large belch after a greasy meal. The snow before him had melted in a vast streak of exposed dead grass, and his next breath brought a puff of aromatic smoke out through his nostrils. His belly, his throat still panged with residual heat.

There came a tapping on his back, and he turned around, much quicker than he usually would, nerves not quite settled from the stress of a veritable bomb in his stomach.

It was Lilia.

"Hello," Malleus grumbled.

"Your classmates insisted I check up on you!" Lilia was smiling. "Are you feeling alright?"

"I am feeling fine," he replied.

"Good," Lilia said, patting his back again. "You did fly out in quite a hurry."

Malleus let himself be guided back towards the building. "I could not very well open my mouth to tell you it was just gas," he said bitterly.

"True enough," said Lilia. "It's more than just gas in a dragon's tummy, though, isn't it?"

Lilia was clearly trying to comfort Malleus, and Malleus let himself be swayed by his words. "You're right," he mumbled.

"It's no fun, huh, Malleus? Good job making it all the way out here." His voice had morphed fully into a parental coo. "Next time, though, you needn't run so far."

Malleus grunted noncommittally. He had not considered it in the literal heat of the moment, but Ramshackle Dorm had charmed him so long, it had begun to feel like somewhere safe. "When we get back," he said, "I'd like a tall glass of ice water."

Lilia hummed in agreement. "I've heard they've even got ice cream on sale today for dessert."

Malleus' eyes went wide. "I am interested," he said, as coolly as he could.

This was so good!! I don't really know Twisted Wonderland characters or lore that well but I'm gathering that Malleus is some kind of dragon hybrid/has dragon genetics, and I just really love the concept that a dragon or dragon hybrid would need to burp more urgently due to actual fire building up inside! Like not only is it super hot to visualize how big a burp was via the flames but that has to be so soothing and relieving to put out a literal fire in your belly by burping it all out 😵‍💫🥵
