encourage them to verbalize their feelings and offer protection to prevent injury to themselves or, possibly, others

start building a trusting relationship with them rather than acting on a desire to control their symptoms

do not confirm or feed into the delusion by asking questions about it when the person is not experiencing a psychotic episode

insisting to a psychotic person experiencing psychosis that what they’re experiencing isn’t real

I don’t mean to trivialize psychosis by making a weird comparison, but this guide also serves as a handy checklist for helping someone through a bad drug trip. In both cases your number one priority is to get the person through whatever they’re dealing with unharmed.

i don’t think it’s trivializing at all, nor a weird comparison—as a psychotic person who has had psychotic episodes inadvertently triggered by drug use and/or worsened while trying to self-medicate with drugs, i think this is an important addition.

We thought, instead of giving a retold account that leaves out so many details like the one they gave, we can show you all what happened. Objectum-wardship is Geschrieben in the screenshots.

If you think this is ok? What are you doing. They were telling victims how to feel about pedophilia and they were comparing it to cluster B disorders, adding to the stigma and abuse we already face.

The level of tone policing over our choice of saying "here's a blog to block that we just found out about" is insane. Especially considering how ableist/racist it is and that we are a brown autistic system. We honestly just assumed everyone around us wouldn't want someone who's admitted to being a zoophile and pedophile around them.

The fact is, pressured or not, the blog we sent did admit to being a pedophile and zoophile on a random ask then basically buried it. Once something is online, it's public property. We are allowed to send people a post as a warning.

My boyfriend, Greenboy has a pretty big tear. He is a silicone bong, it's near the top of the neck. I tried gorilla glue but it didn't work. Does anybody know how to fix silicone? Any glue that would glue silicone to silicone? Just anything that would help me smoke with my precious Greenboy again?
