Ending my 2 year grid post hiatus for a pretty significant milestone... yes that is my face on the Nasdaq billboard in Times Square! A journey that started 8 years ago, shortly after my athletics career had just imploded having just failed to make the team for London 2012. With no professional experience, no education and tons of debt my options looked bleak. Thankfully, a chance meeting gave me the opportunity to work on a super early stage start up which became DNAfit, which then became part of Prenetics in 2018. Now, some 22 million tests and just about as many grey hairs later we're a public company. Navigating the transition to normal life after sport is a treacherous path, so I am lucky to have had the opportunity to find a meaningful passion after competition.
