I will never stop pining for you

When you hear me say, "I do so much for you."

It is not a chip to bargain. It is not an accusation, or declaration of debt, a spotlight on some ingratitude. I have done nothing to be grateful for, yet your grace still finds me openly.

It is only a desperate, grating, horrid longing, a pitiful moan that I can't do more, that I have really only done that which I cannot bare not to.

I do so much, but my weakness prevails.

I do so much, but I am so very tired.

I do so much, but I should do so much more.

I do so much that is truly so little.

You know nothing of my weakness or the extent to which I've kept it at bay.

I really need to stay off Tumblr.

Not a moment passes where I do not miss you in my arms, your touch, your smell. You are embedded in the deepest parts of me, imprinted in my psyche. Eternally, from whatever part of me that can even be called eternal, I need and want and gasp for you. You are air. You are the water I will drown in. You are my sustenance, my blood, my still beating heart. You are the chemical and ritual and reason and truth. My cosmos sings for you. It begs for the light of a single twinkling star.
