Okay, so this MIGHT be the most I’ve ever spent (retail price) on an non-Lego toy, but… c’mon. it’s me. Char Aznable’s Sanest Fangirl.

He’s very posable and expressive! Poses include:

I’m not a huge Lego Star Wars girlie these days since a lot of the sets are either overpriced prequel-era stuff or something like this; a large, buildable display piece that tries to treat itself seriously like it’s not a **Lego building toy.** I picked this set up for one reason: it’s one of the closest things Lego produces these days that is akin to Bionicle/Hero Factory/Constraction sets. While the legs and feet literally have zero articulation, there is a good amount of Technic stuff used to create a large character out of Lego pieces. The arms are pretty much all Technic and the torso has a CCBS-style ball clicked into what Bionicle used to use for hands to create a torso swivel. The eyes are literally Techinic pins.

Most importantly, this is not the first buildable K-2SO set Lego has made. That honor goes to set 75120, who is a constraction K-2SO set made in 2016. Using that set, we can compare modern “constraction” with the true CCBS sets of old. I have one on the way in the mail, and will make another post comparing/combining the sets; stay tuned!

so today was my first day back at a delivery job for a Chinese restaurant I hadn’t worked at in like a year, and it has a system where I put in my code on a computer to clock in/out/record my hours. I didn’t remember my code because i didn’t think i’d be working here again; I ask my boss for my code and he doesn’t remember it either so he pulls out a piece of paper with codes of all the employees he’s had and he can’t find mine. So he gives me a code for someone with a similar name to me who doesn’t work here anymore (for the sake of this story we’ll say Skyler instead of Skye; my job unfortunately deadnames me)…

I felt like a retired hound who begrudgingly is working under a handler again, stealing the codename of another long-dead hound. Ofc, this means that my AC or Mobile Suit or whatever is a 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe.

Bonkle giveaway!

hello deerlings. tysm for all the support and such y’all have given me on my stupid robot tumblr account, it makes me very happy. I know it’s been mostly Gundam on here but obviously I’ve posted other “robot” stuff here before (Transformers, Evangelion, Warhammer 40k if you wanna count that I guess), and something I really have been meaning to post more about lately is Bionicle. I’ve been a fan since I was a kid, and even though I was a year or two too late to actually play with any of the G1 toys, some of my fondest childhood memories are reading bionicle comics/books my school had and watching Mask of Light, which my mom borrowed from the library often. I’ve recently started getting my hands on some of the toys, it’s been very fun.

Funny enough, Lego decided to release the Tahu Cosplayer CMF right after I started diving back into Bonkle as an adult. This was very exciting, and even though it’s been scalped for like 3 times it’s retail price in a lot of places, I was lucky enough to find not one, but three of him at my local store recently! I bought them all, but not to scalp; to anti-scalp, if you will.

I’m of course keeping one for myself. I even replaced the head it came with with a blank pink one, to make it the “real” Tahu. The second one is going to my friend Tygunpla on Instagram, who you should check out! This, of course, leaves a third Tahu that I wish to give away. To y’all! To thank everyone for supporting @stupidfuckingdeer, I will be giving away him to someone!

M13 Acerby Unit 047 (CANNIBAL tuning)

A M13 Acerby unit that was severely damaged in its right arm. Fearing deactivation, the unit fell under the rare and defective CANNIBAL protocol, causing it to incapacitate and harvest an allied M54 Roundnova Unit 107 (Artillery/Supply Tuning) to repair itself. Considering this unusual behavior corresponded with the unit not returning to us, it can be assumed that the unit can now be classified under [unaffiliated - ENEMY]. While the rocket launcher mounted on its right arm will probably damage it/make the unit unsustainable for itself in the near future, please incapacitate/deactivate this unit if contact is made.
