you may be familiar with disney twisted wonderland, the gacha game in which various disney villains are used as direct inspiration for handsome anime boys. well that game was so successful that disney is trying to do it again but this time they're just animeboyifying whatever
here's mickey, goofy, donald, and chip & dale. yeah they turned mickey & friends into anime boys. they're an idol unit or something. they're technically not anime boy versions of the source characters, they have different names. mickey's guy is "Neo Michel". not michael, michel, like he's french. chip & dale are "Ruska Moncrief" and "Ranka Monk", they have different last names, they're not brothers anymore so that they can be yaoibait instead, anyways this post isn't actually about these guys I'm just setting the stage for the actual humanizations I wanted to show you

Looking back, I respect Legend of Korra for having the guts to character assassinate Aang.
As a kid, he ran away from his problems of being the Avatar, causing the world to go without an Avatar for 100 years, and then after 4 seasons of character growth he was told that he needs to get over himself to prevent the second genocide under his tenure as Avatar. And his response was to run away and throw a fit that no one was able to offer him a vegan friendly option to solve the issue of doing his job.
I fully believe the person who does that, ans got rewarded for it would grow up into a shitty dad.....shame no one thought to tell him to just pretend Ozai is a Sandbender.

Kids books is probably not the best way to word it, you can enjoy them at every age, including your childhood, as you get older you may find new truths in them, but they're still good for any age.
I want you to understand this. I NEED you to understand this. My mother read me the hobbit as bedtime story, and I started pushing myself to read before pre-school so I could in fact read the hobbit for myself instead of having to wait for bedtime.
I didn't do so right away but jesus wept I PUSHED myself to learn to read SPECIFICALLY so I could read The Hobbit! It is, in fact, a children's story! And children only see page count as 'there is a lot of this fun story to read!'
