Bellamy does as told. Without complaining, even. He started to take off his shoes, but only managed to undo the laces before Gina’s hands are in his air and he almost melts. Of course she would remember him liking that. A sigh escapes his lips, a shiver runs down his spine.
“I’m not that much of a nerd,” he mumbles as he tilts his head up to meet the other’s gaze. He grins. “–– but I missed you calling me a nerd.”
“you, my friend, are a complete and total nerd.” her other hand went to join the other in his hair, gently combing the thick curls back. she knew that he wouldn’t want to talk about what happened, but at least, if he stayed here, she could make sure he didn’t do anything stupid. “so what you’re saying is, you missed me. I missed you, too.” tugging, Gina pushed the boy toward the bed, making a motion with her hand. “go on. bed time.”

He’s content to sit there and watch Gina, and with the prospect of not having to sleep along, Bellamy’s not even longing for a strong drink anymore. The fact that not sleeping alone means sharing a bed with Gina is even better. A soft smile continued to play upon his lips and it widens the moment she tugs on his arm. He’s quick to push himself up and he takes a few seconds to regain his balance. He’s really not used to alcohol anymore.
“I–-I also missed your hand,” he mutters as he slips his hand into hers, giving it a soft squeeze. “I kinda missed EVERYTHING about you. But especially your butt. You have a nice butt. Did you know that?”
managing to hold back a chuckle, Gina wrapped an arm around Bellamy’s, leading the way. the walk to her room was short ( she liked being able to hear if something was going down in the bar ), and within a minute she was opening the door and ushering him inside. “sit down, before you fall down.”
her palm went to smoothen over his curls, fingers tangling into them. “I missed your hair. and the fact you’re a complete nerd.”

His shoulders slumped a little when Gina spoke and it was clear that he did NOT like her idea. Or well, the former one, at least. His smile returns when she’s done talking and he finds himself nodding frantically.
“––– I can go to your room. I can do that. I actually kinda missed your butt.”
“okay, let me just close up.” closing up consisted of tugging all extra liquor under the table, in a safe like compartment with a massive lock. she was done withing a few minutes. it was easy, taking cake of bar here. you jsut had to make sure it was stashed away, in order for no one to steal it.
then, she moved arounf the table, an arm going around his forearm and tugging. “come on, boy wonder. let’s go sleep.”

“––NOPE.” It’s been too long since he last had decent company. Or any company at all, since he has the tendency to send everyone away who even approaches him. Don’t even start about people trying to talk to him about Mount Weather.
“I’m good,” he continues, offering Gina a tiny, lopsided grin. “I’m fine just here. And the pretty view is just a nice bonus.”
“you’re such a little kid, Bells.” she was going to use another word, but-- not tonight. he had been miserable for far, far too long. “listen, here’s the deal-- you have to go to your room so i can go to my room, okay?” hesitation. “or you can come to my room with me. sober up a bit, and then you can go to bed. we can sleep butt to butt. like old times.”

The sudden food in his mouth took him off guard, but it only takes him a few seconds before he shrugs and takes a hold of the bread. He’s content with eating it and for now it’s enough to distract him from wanting another glass of booze. Water seems to be just fine.
Lips part to speak; to start an argument with her, but eventually he just nods, his shoulders slumping in defeat. Talking some sense into him is a talent of hers, really.
“I’m good,” he mutters, “–- I can be good.”
“ ‘Atta boy. ”
Humming in appreciation, Gina reached and gave his hand a gentle squeeze. “Now go to your bunk and sleep it off. And I’ll make sure to get you food and water tomorrow. Okay?” She’ll even try to get her hands on an aspirin or some kind of pain killer.

“Just… ONE more drink?” he tries as he shoves the empty cup across the table and towards Gina. Not even ten minutes ago she filled his cup for the last time ( her words, not his ), but he’s pretty sure she only gave him a cup that was half full. Or half empty, really, because at the moment he’s more a pessimist than an optimist.
Gina’s been nice, though. She allowed him more than those two drinks he actually came for and now that he thinks about it a bitter chuckle escapes his lips. He doesn’t know whether it’s smart or pathetic that he needs her PERMISSION to drink.
She was chewing on a piece of bread with some lettuce and spread on it, before all but shoving half into Bellamy’s mouth. “Eat that. Then drink this.” Was that a tall glass of water? Yes. Yes, it was. “You’re not alowed to drink anymore until you eat and drink that. Then, maybe, I’ll give you a proper glass of your favorite poison.” No, she wouldn’t. And he knew that.
“Listen, Bells-- I know that you’re sad and possibly heartbroken, but-- don’t do this to yourself. Or to me. You got too uffy for me to drag you to your room. And, not to mention, your room is very far from the bar, so-- yeah. Be good, okay?”
AU where Gina lives, and there’s no explosion
