Apparently, from what I hear people say, in the new Tumblr update, if someone reblogs your post and adds a comment of their own, that reblog is counted as a new post and it belongs to the reblogger. Not you. You, as the OP, do not get the notifications if someone else later reblogs from the person who reblogged your post with their own comment. You can’t see what comments people leave on the reblogs of the post you originally made unless they reblogged directly from you.
If this is actually true, it will just open doors for harassment. And also it takes the credits away from the OPs. Tumblr’s etiquette has always been “reblog don’t repost”. So this new update, if true, contradicts the whole core values of Tumblr as a community.
Respectfully, we don’t want this @staff @support @tumblr @changes please listen to your users.

STRANGER THINGS OPINIONS/SPOILERS BELOW
personally I absolutely LOVED it. They really landed the plane and I’m so happy Steve survived 🥹
I think the people that are ripping on it are honestly doing it for the crack because ??? To be fair we knew there would be hate bc it wouldn’t fit everyone’s taste (which is FAIR because all opinions are valid even if you don’t agree with them).
I totally think eleven is dead and it’s mikes way of coping. My poor babiessss I love them so much. And hopper lost another daughter?? What the flip?? Also no way was Kali even remotely alive, she was dead in Els arms she wouldn’t have lasted that long. But I suppose mike and the others didn’t see her real condition, so it made a good plot point in his theory for him to believe it to be true.
The mind flayer physical form was absolutely insane. I loved it. I do think the battle was maybe a LITTLE bit short, but not anticlimactic at all. Henry was weaker after coming face to face with his childhood, so it makes sense why he struggled to put up a fight. I got really emotional when we saw the montages of all the shit he put them through.
As for the demogorgon and demobats, my theory is that they were part of the mind flayer physical form. Like in s3 how the flayed became the mind flayers form then, it still needs a vessel. And I think that’s a fair explanation as to where they were, however if that is the case maybe a little clip showing it being made would’ve been great (not hung up on it though)
I loved the epilogue so much. My babies graduating, Robin nance and jonathan made it out of Hawkins. Steve is still there but he’s living his best life and WE LOVE THAT. And he’s breaking the businessman norms of his family. I’m loving the new Steve content on here!? It’s helping me cope with the reality my comfort show is fully over 🥹 so bittersweet. Djo lives on though, so when you think about it rockstar!steve au is a reality in a way.
Yeah I suppose there were some plot holes that weren’t fully explained, but some of them I fear spoke for themselves? Idk if that’s just me.
Also an apology to my girl kali, I hated her before this episode AHAHAHA
I also loved the theatre sequence, especially after seeing the first shadow that was so awesome to see.
I EXPECTED more deaths, but I’m not sad that there weren’t as many as a I thought. El was a major one though, whether it’s seen as ambiguous or not (she’s totally dead IMO). But I’m so happy that MOST of them got their happy ending and I can go into 2026 knowing they’re still alive. Steve dying would’ve severely affected my grades I fear.
The DND campaign ruined me though. I was ugly crying because why do the duffers hate me. SO FREAKING SAD AND BITTERSWEET I CANT EVEN. Them putting their books on shelf really sent me over the edge (as if I wasn’t over already?) and mike closing the door after Holly and her friends go downstairs.
Overall I’m super happy with it 🥹 so excited to rewatch all together to take it in as a whole season together.

It’s baking holiday cookies together, steve insisting he’s “helping” while he has his arms slung around your middle holding you to his chest, tracing circles into your hip and whispering sweet nothings into your ear.
winter has a whole different meaning to you because of steve. it has become one of your most favourite times of year, despite the freezing cold that comes with the coziness. a season that brings the best memories with your gorgeous boy.
