The name “Marina and The Diamonds” comes from the year 2005, when I decided that I didn’t want to sound like a solo artist. I wanted to create a project which was very inclusive and was based on the idea of music being something that’s unifying and that builds a community.

What is your favorite music video that you have done? What's your favorite from each era? (TFJ, EH, FROOT) Have you ever scrapped a video because you didn't like if?

So hard. I have a soft spot for Electra era. I worked hard to build a rich visual world and I loved using fantasy to portray a character. But FROOT has been the most enjoyable/ happy thus far.
