Be Careful of Thieves Posing as Dominants
Seeing a large influx of accounts, posing primarily as kinky dominant women and using lots of different hashtags to cast a wide net, making posts asking you to either: 1. Send them a DM 2. Click on links to go off-site/off the Tumblr app 3. Send them a text or an email 4. Use Telegram or other chat services Not always, but there is a very high chance that if you follow through and make contact with them, they will then proposition you to pay money, exchange crypto or buy tokens of some kind for their 'services'. It is a very thin line between consenting to paying for services, financial domination kink, and willful acts of theft. All three are different in terms of being genuine, the consent and safety involved. When it crosses over into theft territory, you are likely to also experience non-consensual extortion and blackmailing. Catfishing is also very likely. If you choose to engage or interact with anyone online, regardless of the purpose, it must be said again that you are always the only person responsible for your own safety, and for properly understanding what you are about to participate in. Do not simply trust the other party to have your safety and best interests in mind. We would all like to believe that they do, but there really is nothing obligating them to. They just want your wallet. Stay safe. Please share.
