My boss, like a mother figure to me, was diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer last year but didn't really want to tell anyone, including a former coworker that was also like a daughter to her. A couple months ago the girl showed up to my job and was like, "Where is she? How is she? What's going on??" She had been having dreams of our boss and figured something wasn't right. We scheduled a visit with our boss and she started crying saying she had been thinking of her and wanted to see her, but didn't know how to get in contact with her and didn't want to bother her. Somehow the message was received.

I visited my boss yesterday at the hospital. I knew she'd be gone soon. I couldn't sleep last night. Then around 3am I got a vision of her face and it slowly faded. Sure enough I woke up to a message that she had passed.

I grew up not believing in the spirits of the dead. Idk what I believe anymore. However, if they are watching over us, it feels great to know she's watching over me. She (5') once held a man (5'11) up at knife point (meat cleaver) cuz he was stealing my tips, then robbed him (literally emptied his pockets while she pressed the knife into his neck), and made him bow and apologize to me. I had made like $3 in tips that day, but after he handed over everything in his pockets I left with over $25. That's who's over my shoulder daring anyone that wants to do me harm to come near.

Another fucking engagement! I did one wedding already this year (that I'm still paying for), got another coming up in like 3 FUCKING WEEKS AND IDK WTF I'M GONNA DO WITH MY HAIR, got another in September (I'm not a bridesmaid but knowing this guy at the last minute he's gonna ask me to be in his groomsmen party), one cousin got engaged last month and her dad was over last night talking about doing a family trip out the country, and another cousin just got engaged today.
