Frozen, Kanna stood in the doorway to her classroom, her expression one of pure shock as she stared inside, unable to utter a single word. Not that she would have known what to say, anyways. Maybe it was, in fact, for the better that she was unable to articulate her thoughts. After all, suddenly bursting into incoherent screaming very rarely did any good.
Blinking slowly, as if maybe the scene before her was just a mistake, a trick which the lights were playing on her eyes, she once more raised her gaze. But nothing had changed, the source of her distress still sitting in the middle of the classroom as if there was nothing unusual about that.
There, at the desk right next to hers, sat the young waiter which she had encountered just a few days ago. The very same waiter in front of whom she had made a complete fool of herself, committing more blunders than humanly even possible. She had intended to just avoid the café for the rest of her life, hoping that in ten or twenty years she would have been able to forget the embarrassing scene. And now he was here, in her classroom.
For one second, Kanna considered to just turn and run, pretending she had never seen him and just call in sick for the rest of the school year. Sadly, the little bit of rationality which was left in her right now, was aware that that would hardly be an option, leaving the young woman no other choice but to slowly step into the room, approaching her desk with the same amount of caution, someone would usually show when approaching a bomb.
This wasn’t a problem. She had dealt with much worse situations, for sure. This guy probably didn’t even remember her anymore. All she would have to do, was to act normal this time and greet him like she would with any other newcomer. Yes. Good plan.
A pale hand rubbed against his eye slightly trying his best to get away any signs of the tiredness from his eyes, mainly due to the last work day being a nightshirt. It wasn’t really that compatible with his school schedule at the moment but he’d get used to it. Hopefully, since he needed the extra money it gave despite the rather strict rules of the school.
Outside of the rather tight sleeping schedule at the moment, the day had been relatively normal, none the less he was just glad to have the introduction part done with. It was one of the things he didn’t really enjoy even when he was younger, after all what was the point of introducing yourself to people who probably already know the more important parts of your identity already.
Name, age, health status, family and quirk.
All of these things where checked and written down in precaution if something might happen, might as well deal those papers out to the students too at this point, would make it allot easier. A sigh left him before noting light footsteps in his direction accompanied with slight stuttering of a greeting, well that is what he thought it was at least due to the low volume.
“Hi?“ he questioned as he turned towards the sound absentmindedly before blinking a few times at the girl that came into view, the redhead seeming quite similar somehow before the rather nervous voice confirmed it.
Never thought he’d see her again honestly, even less so in his own class.
“Ah, It’s you isn’t it?“ he pointed out before continuing.”The Cortado and cheesecake girl right?“
