With the rain pouring down, and the dangerous civilians outside, a young lady such as Celestia had little to do but wait inside a (dingy) cafe, waiting.
She noticed that, inside the cafe, they had a few board games on a shelf. Going over to investigate, she grabbed a deck of cards she found and sat down, shuffling the cards and looking for anyone who might be gullible enough to play against her.

It was raining, far too hard for the gambler’s tastes. If she went out in this rain, the velvet of her dress would be ruined! So, she was hiding in a shop sipping some tea she’d weaseled out of the barista. It wasn’t very good, but it was enough.
Looking up, she noticed someone... no, couldn’t be. She, they? he? Oh, who cared, had died... right?
Without knowing it, she spoke, “Fujisaki-san?”

Celestia walked down the path, walking with an elegant stride to make sure everyone who saw her knew she was a lady. As she walked through the city, she noticed someone... far too familiar.
Stopping in her tracks, she turned towards her and folded her hands in front, trying to keep her expression even. It was too easy for her to do just that.
“Oogami-san? Is that truly you?”

Celestia gazed down, brushing her skirt off. How... strange to wake up here, after spending the past week or so locked in that school. She wanted to be angry, who dared transport her of all people to some bizarre world?
But when she was being taken from a place where she couldn’t so much as see the sunlight or get a breath of fresh air... it was almost nice. Even if the city seemed to be in ruins.
Even so, her dress was now dirtied which annoyed her more than she showed, and she had none of her possessions. They’d told her she had food and clothes in her housing, but she doubted such things matched her standards. How horrific.
Hopefully, she could find some poor shmucks willing to gamble away their fortunes.
