tyrion's relationship with the rest of house lannister is so poignant because, outside of tywin, cersei, and joffrey, he is deeply loved by his family. jaime's love is the fiercest of course, but his uncles too. gerion brings him gifts and teaches him acrobatics, and kevan treats tyrion with respect even when he thinks tyrion really might have been behind joffrey's murder, and genna had a years-long falling out with her big brother in defending tyrion to him, even in the briefest mentions of tygett we know that he was kind to tyrion. even tommen and myrcella are always nice to tyrion.

the tragedy is that tyrion recognizes the love his family has for him individually, but the deep loathing of tywin and cersei warps his worldview to such an extent that he genuinely feels himself to be incapable of and unworthy of being loved. but everyone else in his family loves him!!!
