make website bigger / more focal
add editor names
add sponsors?
add images of artworks?
add logo
have a go at making a more playful press release - in sync with pseudo concept - more of a narrative using ‘commercial’ language

Artists invitation to participate
Hello there ....,
My name is Ozzie and I am emailing on behalf of 'Team Sudo', we are co-curating a billboard exhibition, 'Sudo Solutions', featuring 5 selected artists.
We are getting in touch to invite you participate ‘Sudo Solutions’. Invited artists are asked to respond to our theme by providing an image that will be printed large format and fly-posted on an outdoor billboard spaces in Whitechapel in May 2020.
For this exhibition we have created a fictional company, titled ‘Sudo Solutions’, in which artworks exist as ‘products’; a probing of the commerce meets art contortion. The posters will direct people to our website, which will feature the ‘Sudo Products’ in an e-commerce format, therefore hijacking physical and digital commercial spaces with artworks.
Following a period of research, we have drawn up a list of emerging artists whose works we feel have a meaningful resonance to our ‘commerce meets art’ concept. You are one of the artists we would like to invite to submit an artwork, and we are particularly interested in your ………. piece. However, if you have another artwork in mind that you feel would be more fitting, then we would be equally as delighted to hear about it, and to consider it. If you have any questions at this point, please get back to us on the email or on 079..........
We look forward to hearing from you,
Ozziline Bill and Team Sudo
'Sudo Solutions' is an exhibition concept coming out of Westminster University, the fly posting element is enabled by our generous partner the most notorious UK poster company, Build Hollywood, who are kindly sponsoring the print and use of poster space.

Proposal for billboard company
Sudo Solutions Exhibition Proposal
5 London based emerging artists - 5 artworks - 5 billboard posters
Sudo Solutions is a group exhibition of five artists whose works’ reflect advertising and consumer culture.
Each work is installed in outside billboard / poster spaces in London, alluding to the ‘commercial’ space as art space. These artworks can be mistaken for ‘real’ products or services, hinting to the aspirational, they are marketed as commodities to improve or enhance the consumers’ life.
The individual artworks come together via a website hosted by their mother ‘company’: ‘Sudo Solutions’, whose tagline is ‘sudo problems solved’.
The billboard posters include QR codes, which passers by scan in order to reach the Sudo Solutions website. The website includes each ‘product’ featured on the billboards, revealing to the viewer that they are in fact artworks, giving information on the artist and the work itself.
In replacing the analogue press release and the human gallery attendant with a website, Sudo Solutions comments on our relationship to our mobile devices, both as a virtual mediator for our everyday interactions and as a source of information.
The private view will consist of an in situ outside viewing of the billboard site. Viewers will be encouraged to take out their phones and scan the QR codes directing them to the website.
Sudo Solutions creates a playful and interactive experience whilst highlighting how advertising uses language, aesthetics and the ‘aspirational’ as a way to create ‘the consumer’. The technological aspect demonstrates our dependency on technology; the mobile phone is an extension of self.

Channel 4's ad stunt for its new TV drama, 'Humans', was 'hugely important' in driving a record number of viewers to the first episode, according to CEO David Abraham.

In recent days a small number of Synths have been experiencing some technical difficulties. With this in mind we have decided to initiate a precautionary and entirely voluntary product recall.

'Freaked out' viewers have taken to social media over a 'creepy' advert that seemed to offer the chance to buy a lifelike robot. However, it was actually an ad for an upcoming Channel 4 series, Humans.
