The worst thing is when you physically ache. When you werenât physically hurt in any way Yet it feels like youâve been repeatedly punched in the chest and you can barley breathe thatâs the worst kind of sadness

How to Trust Again
1. Recognize the benefits of trusting others, and building some meaningful relationships. If you never let others get close to you, then youâre likely to feel lonely and empty inside.
2. Remember that one person doesnât have to meet your needs. We can trust different people with aspects of ourselves. Doing that can feel less risky, and a lot less scary.
3. Look at the actions of other people before you decide if you can trust them or not. If they are kind to others and they seem reliable, then itâs likely they will treat you in that same way, too. However, be wary of people who are mean or critical, or who talk about others, or are unpredictable.
4. Give trust slowly â let others prove themselves â and if they seem trustworthy then start to trust them more. Share a few small things before you share some bigger things.
5. Trust yourself to cope if someone lets you down. Weâve all been disappointed and betrayed by other people. Have the confidence to know that you will manage, and survive!!
6. Donât pressurise yourself to give more than you are able. Itâs hard to trust others if youâre feeling insecure, or if youâve been hurt by others, or if trust is threatening. Decide to take it slowly and be patient with yourself.
hey! you!
i love and care for you endlessly!
Betrayal is one of the worst pains a person can possibly endure. Someone who once felt like home to you; someone you thought you could trust with your deepest, darkest thoughts, is now a distant, cold, bitter memory.
And now Iâm numb to everything.

you said youâd call me in the morning but the voicemail you left had her voice in the background
you tend to distance yourself from others because you feel that theyâre going to leave anyway.

I donât think you realize how much a moment in your presence means to me.
its everything (via emptymidnights)
You couldnât look at me. I was right there, and you couldnât look at me. Maybe it killed you to see that I could smile without you, that I could laugh with someone who wasnât you. Maybe you finally realized that I could breathe and live, and that I didnât need you after all. Because at some point I got tired of chasing, chasing someone who was never going to come around. I was a fool, going back and forth playing your stupid, little game. The difference between you and I though, I tried to get through to your heart - I cared, I loved, and you didnât. You couldâve let me in, you shouldâve let me in, you needed to let me in. But you made a decision, and your decision wasnât me.

you are better off without me. I hate knowing that.
You changed. You changed like seasons, like television channels, like the pages of a book that you canât put down. Youâre no longer who I met that April night. You donât have the same innocence and the same mysteriousness that led me to you. That kept me coming back to you. Youâre different now. You started acting like everyone else instead of yourself. How senseless of you. How dare you destroy the person I fell in love with and replace it with someone I never even met.

Things You Don't Comment On:
- someoneâs eating habits
- appearance issues that canât be fixed there and then
- someone elseâs âbadâ decision if it canât now be undone
- someoneâs laugh or voice
- someoneâs âunrealisticâ dreams
- someone ânot looking their bestâ in photos
- someone not wanting to do something and trying to subtly avoid it without making a fuss
- anything that you know will make someone self conscious or insecure unnecessarily
