Almost had the shortest honor mode run in history

Sorcerer: *mid-conversation with Gale after pulling him out of the portal*

Warlock decides now is a great time to mess with monk by throwing a bomb at him

The thing about bombs is that they… explode… and everyone was standing next to each other… including Gale

Gale turns hostile, everyone panics, monk attacks him immediately

Sorcerer: WAIT NO YOU CAN’T KILL GALE HE HAS THE ORB—

Monk, already delivering the final blow: ah that’s not good

Gale’s projection appeared to announce that we had triggered the end of the world but everyone was too busy panicking to pay attention to the dialogue… that included the instructions for how to prevent everything from blowing up

One revive scroll later Gale was perfectly happy to hang out and make his succulent roast at camp so our campaign is safe and it all worked out in the end!!
