The Man in the Relationship
The music was echoing softly while Calvin and I were laying on the bed, forcing him to hear my music type. âSpirits,â by The Stumbellas was coming to an end, as I scrolled through (social media).
Calvin starts chuckling softly, looking at his screen intently. I turn slowly to my side, nuzzling my head on his neck.
âWhatcha looking at?â I ponder, looking at his screen. He turns his head to me and smiles. âJust reading on how some couples cook together and like other cringey couple stuff,â he explains, smiling but I gasp.
âWhat do you mean? Iâve been dying to make you do that kind of stuff, but I guess you donât love me enough,â I ponder, shuffling away.
âNo! Ew, thatâs like cringey (Y/N),â He jokes, turning to his side and wrapping an arm around me. I start laughing, backing up into him. âWe should do something like that.. like legit. Letâs be a tumblr couple,â I happily say, jumping on him.
With that, 'You Send Meâ by Sam Cooke started playing, making me straighten up in excitement. I quickly pull Calvin up, stumbling on his clothing on the floor. I put my hands on his shoulders, as he instantly put his hands on my waist as we began swaying to the smooth jazz, as I sang along to the words.
âYou send me, I know you send me,â I say, smiling. He chuckles as he shakes his head, âThis is fucking so cliche.â
I extend my arm, making him twirl as I giggle loudly. âIâm the man in the relationship!â I joke, continuing dancing.
Calvin quickly picked me up slightly and threw me down to the bed, sitting on top of me.
âAt first I thought it was infatuation. But wooh, itâs lasted so long. Now I find myself wanting to marry you and take you home, woah!â He sang, staring lovingly into my eyes.
âCalvin..â I whisper, biting my lip. He cocked an eyebrow, smirking a bit. I knew what was going through his mind, he was going to get laid because he knew that prt of the song.
âCalvin, that was so fucking cliche!â I yelled playfully, laughing. He pouted and stared at me for quite sometime as I laughed.
âI wasnât kidding, (Y/N). You are so beautiful. Your skin, hair, personality, honestly just everything about you, it makes my heart beat fast.â
He leaned down slowly, capturing my lips in a passionate and sweet kiss. Our tongues intervened, his hands clenching my jaw and pulling me close to him.
âI hope I get to take you home,â he whispers, as I bit my lip, almost whimpering at the loss of our lips together.
âYou are cheesier than me Calvin, I am the guy in the relationship!â
