You were sitting in the semi-circle with the boys during their camping trip. It wasn’t often that you were aloud to actually go and hang out with them during shootings unless you were off to the side. But since the cameras were no longer rolling you were finally just enjoying hanging with your boys.
“You know what we should do,” Seungkwan asked leaning forward in his chair to get a good look at everyone. “What do you have in mind?” Wonwoo asked raising an eyebrow. “Try not to laugh,” Seungkwan lifted his chin in the direction of Wonwoo. “What’s the catch?” you asked taking a sip of your drink. “Person who laughs first has to take a drink, and this includes giggling!” Seungkwan pointed a finger up in the air. Everyone agreed to play this game, because why wouldn’t you want to make each other laugh?
Topics started with what type of music people liked listening to, and when Mingyu mentioned he was listening to Nella Fantasia, you and Vernon shared a look with each other before picking up your cups and taking a drink. You took a peek over at Seokmin and noticed that he wasn’t fairing well either, but managed to suppress his laugh almost having to bite his fist.
After Seungcheol was forced to look at one goofy Jun eating a sweet potato, Soonyoung and Seokmin went into one of their elderly tangents and you doubled over laughing watching the two bicker back and forth like a married couple. Moments like these are what you lived for seeing them act goofy and relaxed together, you lived to see the family side of them.
Vernon nudged your side he lifted his chin at the tall vocalist. “C’mon do something with him already,” he whispered in your ear when you leaned into him. “Okay, okay! Quit rushing me!” your whisper was laced with a laugh. Walking over to Seokmin you moved behind him before hunching your shoulders slightly and linking arms with him. Seokmin straightened his back a little caught off guard before realizing it was you and resuming what he was doing. Looking between Soonyoung and Seokmin you squint your eyes listening to their conversation. “No, no! You have to pay for it first!” Soonyoung wailed frantically moving his hands about him. “But I want my Doenjang-jjigae,” Seokmin complained. You bit your lip to keep from laughing and turned your head away from looking at either of them. Once you had your almost small giggle fit under control you looked up at the man you had linked arms with taking on a grandmother like character. “Let’s grab your Doenjang-jjigae and make haste!” you pointed in front of you and waddled a couple steps forward before being stopped by a hand in your own. Looking down at your hand you followed it up to a rosy-cheeked Minnie. “Min? Is there a reason you’re blushing like that?” you asked squinting up at his cheeks illuminated by the lights left from the set. Seokmin stood there gaping for a brief moment before quickly shaking his head and resuming his grandpa character, but you could still see the blush. Reoffering you his arm he rasped, “ah, right! Let’s get Doenjang-jjigae!” As you two started to waddle towards Soonyoung, Jun left his chair. “Grandpa, grandmas I need you to stop!” He lowered his voice and dipped his chin squaring his shoulders at the three of you.
The reaction was instantaneous. Seokmin was rolling on the ground, people were holding each other, and you were laughing into your knees at Jun’s old person impersonation.
As you reopened your eyes you noticed small lights flickering in the air, and one small light was fluttering in towards you nose. Going cross eyed to look at the small firefly had settled on your nose. Turning to Seokmin and tapped his arm. “Hey Min, is there something on my face?” You asked trying to maintain a serious composure with your eyes crossed. Seokmin’s dark eyes seemed to dilate as he took in your expression and there were a few snickers from people who observed the new “Rudolph”. “Yeah just,” he stuck out a finger towards your nose letting the small bug crawl on his finger, “there we go.” He gave you a fond smile, “make a wish (Y/N).” You sat there for a moment looking at the small bug that rested on Seokmin’s finger before looking up to meet a smiling face you’d do anything to make sure it stayed smiling. Returning the smile you blew on the bug gently and watched as it flickered away. Seokmin scooted closer to your side as your gaze was still transfixed on the multiple fireflies floating around the group. Hesitating he swallowed before interlacing your fingers together with his, “what did you wish for?” Looking at your hands clasped together a small smile painted your lips, “it’s bad luck to tell, but I think it just came true.”
