sorry for all the personal posts lately!! this is just a ramble and everything is ok
i managed to purchase a new monitor a day early and holy moly i have had a rollercoaster of emotions. everything is ok and my computer is fine!!
it was registering as no signal, but the screen itself was working fine, and of course instead of checking everything first i immediately had a breakdown. i thought my computer must have gotten fucked in transit, was thinking about all my art files from the past 5yrs that would be gone, my current commissions lost, wasn’t sure if i could afford new parts after buying a monitor etc etc
this dumb ass right here had plugged the hdmi into the gpu instead of the motherboard lmao everything was fine im just a BIG DUMB IDIOT who cried for NOTHINGGGG
on the positive note, i’m very excited to be able to continue working on commissions now, and i’m so glad the move was over. i was essentially left to clean (AND pack) a 4 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom two story house by myself because my roommates abandoned me, so literally all of my time was sorting out four peoples worth of stuff and cleaning because people are shit.... i’m so happy that i now have free time & no longer have to deal with all this. thank goodness. i could honestly rant endlessly about the terrible and unfair things that i’ve had happen to me in the past two to three weeks, but i’ll leave it hahahahah
