Teeth and Claws- Prologue

As the couples hurried footsteps came to a holt, their eyes burned with the embers and heat from the moving torches. They never meant for anyone to find out. To find out that the Cordell’s were monsters. But truth being told, they weren’t. Yes Aurora Cordell may have performed harmless spells to save a child, but the town folks weren’t after her, they were after him. Xavier Cordell. A man so daring, yet so dangerous. People saw him as a threat, from his painful scars to the fresh blood and cuts that appeared every month. The couple watched as the flames flickered still, not moving an inch. Xavier reached for his wife’s hand, placing a soft kiss in his wake, ‘’I’m so proud of you my darling, and I have never loved anyone more than I have done with you.’’ Xavier started eyes darting towards the moon, ‘’ but for now my love, I have to part from you and our dear child, for I am a risk to all of us, I’ll see you in the foreseeable future, goodbye my love.’’ Xavier finished, rubbing a hand over Aurora’s forming bump before moving it up to stoke the tears away from her face.

Starting to write a fanfiction/story this week so please check it out, underneath the cover I will write a brief introduction about the book and what to expect from it.

In the year 1890 a couple fled from their town, running from hunters and townsfolks. But while having a rendezvous in the forest the two make a plan to split up, hoping no one will find or catch them. More than a hundred years later, she started working as a teacher not remembering much since she got into an accident five years before and with coincidence the new professor joining is her husband, the one she couldn't remember. While he could remember everything, from the day they got married to the spells she created to help him after his transformation. After learning about her accident, he is on a mission to win back her heart, all over again.
