Very different from my usual posts but I did this while watching the old strawberry shortcake cartoons and I like how it came out. It looks berry nice if you ignore the parts we’re I messed up berry badly. Adds a little color to my sketchbook ig ‘u’

your getting a long response but this made me think ok

I have a lot of feelings about how stan sees ford right after he loses him. after 10 years he hardly knew the guy. the man never reached out to him, but he trusted him enough to help him with something stan still doesn't know what. he's still figuring that out. so that means he was thinking about him, right?

it's a lot internal turmoil because while ford is his brother and of course he's gonna feel familiar with certain things like his sweatervests, and drawings found in various rooms, it probably felt at times he was in some strangers house.

it's like he learns new things about ford. putting together the pieces of a man who changed and grew for a decade and went missing died in his own house.

I think if he was cold he'd reach for something that reminds him of ford, but at the same time does it? the things he learns about ford start to feel less and less familiar everyday. and while it can be nice to have something to cling to, the life that's missing from it is probably really unsettling. he hasn't been this close to ford in 10 years and this is how it gets to be.
