The Endless Summer MC is one of the best we have in the app and I don’t see that talked about nearly enough. They were a cosmic entity, yet they were also so incredibly human and grounded and just…normal. They were so unremarkable and that’s what made them remarkable.

They were also integral to the group, but not because they were an OP badass type character. They were integral to the group and each individual friend because they helped each person find their own strengths and worths.

Vicky’s interactions with Lucifer, Malbonte and Dino (especially the first 2) in HS2 are so weird to me. Especially in case they survived in book 1, meaning they were either Vicky’s love interest, or at the very least a close friend, for over 10 years. But then the Plague happens, and Vicky is immediately so hostile and distrusting of them. Especially when it seems pretty obvious that collaborating with Plague is necessary to freaking survive this whole ordeal. A normal reaction to me would be like, trying to get them alone and saying something like, ‘Honey, you are acting very cold towards me. I get that we have to walk on eggshells around Plague, and I know you enough to trust that you’re doing all of this out of necessity, but I’m still very sad/angry/confused. If you could please fill me in on wtf is going on, that’d be great.’

But Vicky is so quick to completely flip out and call them all traitors. Zero benefit of the doubt towards her partner/friend of 10 years. I would maybe understand such a reaction from a teenager, but surely a grown woman, who’s held a position of high authority as the Citadel’s councilor, should have more discretion and subtlety?
