And there he goes giving the bat pokemon another one. It didn’t seem to have any issue with the taste. And if they were poisons at all she wouldn’t have told him to eat more, right?

His face went a little pale. Oh jeeze. Now he felt pretty foolish. But hey the pokemon of Aqua deserve only the best. So If it tasted good to him they probably would like it just as much.

“Ah– Hold on.”

Taking out a pokeball he released his golbat, grinning at the creature before taking one of the poke puffs off of the tray to offer it to his partner, who seemed it eat it with no problem at all. Granted his pokemon may have been somewhat used to human food. He would be lying if he said he didn’t spoil them like they were his own children.

“ Wait, what are you- “ She stopped when she saw the Golbat emerge from the Poke Ball and Matt giving one of the Poke Puffs to it. “ A-ah, wait, dude! I didn’t mean for them to be served just yet! “

Oh no. Did him saying they taste weird upset her? He didn’t want to fully lie to her. But really they were good. Now she was saying to throw them out? She really couldn’t mean that, right? They weren’t awful. And really most of the grunts around here would eat ANYTHING.

“No need to do that! I’ll eat them! I’m sure even some of the grunts would love to try them too!”

     Arceus, the big guy really was adorable sometimes when he got flustered like he was now!

...She’s going to pretend like she didn’t just think that.

“ Ha! Nah, it’s all good, man! Those were actually my failed attempts at Poke Puffs, so I doubt the team would appreciate me literally givin’ 'em Pokemon food! But if ya really like ‘em, feel free to stuff yourself silly! “

Swallowing the food he let out a small nervous laugh. Wow he really should of asked before he just started taking food but he had honestly lost track of time and hadn’t eaten at all today.

“Pretty good. They seemed a little weird though– Ah– But they were great! I mean it!”

Insult the chef and they might just poison you.

I was afraid of that. “ Pops always did tell her that her Pokemon food was better suited for human consumption, given the fact that she has been cooking for humans far longer than she has been for Pokemon. “ Well, back to the drawing board then.      ‘ okay, but – ‘ she begins shifting her weight, biting one of her fingernails, ‘ what if, like, they left their stuff? and you - you don’t hate them but they just left and you don’t know what to do with the stuff? ‘ perhaps that was giving too much information; she didn’t even know why she had decided to speak to toni. maybe it was because she needed somebody to talk to – someone who would take this seriously and her seriously. it did help that she was a girl, though, for some reason. even if she didn’t know toni all that well ( like she knew alphonse or trey ) she would have preferred talking to her over anybody else…
