So I drew my Tamtey not too long ago, and have been afraid to try drawing any of the AFOP characters again cuz I’m just so particular about getting their faces accurate. Hoping that if I just post, I can work up the courage! Also yes I know the arrow isn’t nocked, my lizard brain only noticed after I was done 🫠

also, still getting the hang of simplifying Na’vi characters or cartoonifying them lol

Gave myself a haircut recently & wanted to sketch it while it still looks nice. Tbh this was never meant to be colored or shaded bc it was just gonna be one of those random late night sketches (pencil brush bc I miss traditional art) but I thought that I definitely needed the coloring exercise...

also wanna use this final piece to learn how tweening works

I drew the sketch a long time ago before this other sarentu doodle but I ended up really liking it so I used it as my reference for this painting. I'm still trying to figure out how to draw so here I'm just playing around with color palettes. I was trying to go for a more pastel vibe & idc abt accuracy I'll use any excuse to use purple 💜

Pretty sure I keep drawing my lip mark* on the wrong side (⁠ ⁠╹⁠▽⁠╹⁠ ⁠) my best friend laughs at me bc I dunno where marks on my face are off the top of my head

I'm not used to using multiple layers for skin so drawing Na'vi is such a hassle bc I lose most of my details after I slap on some stripes. I still have so much to relearn but I think this was pretty insightful

Not a fan of the lineart bc I always accidentally draw everything too light and here everything is poorly layered and multiplied to try and compensate ತ⁠_⁠ತ (my eyes are so sensitive)
