in korea, Namjoon was recognized by the arguably one of the greatest sk rap groups, MFBTY. He was featured in their song “buckubucku” and had a cameo in the music video for Bang Diggy Bang Bang. In addition, Tiger JK of MFBTY praised Namjoon saying

he even taught himself to speak english in MIDDLE SCHOOL – no teacher! – so that he could take the TOIEC test (english speaking test). He achieved a 900 out of 990 possible.
