Better late than never, but...congrats to @biancabelairwwe, the winner of the women’s 2021 Royal Rumble! The first black Woman to do so, and only the second black person to do so since The Rock. I was watching the Rumble with my homie @halosapien and I jokingly said to him “I mean, she’s gotta win...tomorrow is black history month! What better way to start it off?”. Little did I realize the history that would be made when she actually won. From the Mae Young Classic tournament to now, it’s been awesome watching Bianca grow as a performer. A very VERY cool commission piece ft. the homie @dakotakai_wwe! This was commissioned by @dfahey205, and his idea was to capture both Dakota’s “face” and “heel” personas with respective Pokémon to match. With Dakota formerly going by the name “Evie”, he wanted her good side with Eevee, and her bad(evolved) side with Eevee’s leveled up version, Umbreon...........I learned A LOT about Pokémon while doing research for this lol. *Phew!* Quite possibly one of the most ambitious, yet, fun commissions I’ve done so far. @suji_devil hit me up with the idea of doing a dream tag team match ft. our respective original characters teaming up with some of our fave wrestlers and facing off. Here’s a recent commission I did for my friend @spirit_of_beautifulcha05 and her daughter! You may be hard pressed to figure out which one is the mom, and which one is the daughter lol. They practically look like sisters. My friend Brandi is the definition of “cool mom”. This drawing was inspired from a pic they took together right before Brandi took her to a TOOL concert. So dope. Absolutely gutted to hear about the passing of Jon Huber aka Brodie Lee fka Luke Harper. Brodie was one of my absolute fave wrestlers, and also my all time fave “big man” wrestler. Dude was just a joy to watch. He was a part of an era that really brought me back into wrestling. He, along with the Wyatt Family, The Shield, Daniel Bryan and CM Punk....those guys really made some awesome moments and matches with each other and I enjoyed every minute of it. And maaaaan, Brodie’s lariats were just some of the most brutal looking moves I’ve ever seen. I especially loved when he’d take a hit, rotate, and just rebound with a spinning lariat. I popped EVERY TIME he did it. Dude was special. I was so looking forward to his return to AEW Dynamite 😭😭😭My heart breaks for his wife and kids. From what I’m hearing tonight, they were his world. Prayers and love to his family. RIP Jon.
