Virgil Abloh inspired me tonight. I was roaming through YouTube to see how creative influencers began their careers. I ran into the Harvard Design Graduate School video which Virgil gave insightful information about the way he thinks creatively. He focuses on architecture and how objects can be viewed more than just “what it is”. He combines his creativity with recognizable parts. The way he connects architecture and fashion sparks conversations that really makes you think about the usefulness for designs/art in every single angle.

“Going Linear only produces past products.” This spoke volume. This statement reminds me of being stagnant. Only doing the bare minimum of what seems to be the only way. But, in actuality their is infinite amount of ways and directions to meet that fresh product.

I’m excited to see the Off White x Ikea Collaboration. The “Keep Off” rug definitely has my eye. 2019 is the official year. I’m ready for dates :D

1.) Purchase a black, grey, or navy blue suit. I believe that everyone should have at least one suit in their closet. It’s truly an investment that will make you look sharp!

2.) Keep it simple: When you are being interviewed the interviewer should not be distracted by what you have on. Meaning, don’t come into an interview with bright colors, exuberant patterns, big earrings, and anything else that is incredibly bold. The interviewer wants to get an understanding of who YOU are not what you have on. So, the picture above is the perfect attire for your next job ladies.

3.) Be yourself! Don’t be afraid to bring your personality out while telling the interviewer how you would be a major asset to their company. They love to see people be themselves.

4.) Show your face! You are beautiful and one thing that you should be showing is your smile during the interview. Make sure that you don’t have any hair, earrings, necklaces, or anything blocking your face.
