Ezra let out a deep and amused laugh at the boys confusion. “Some of my boys are not as sweet… and…” he looked up at the ceiling for a moment then back at the boy “respectful” he smiled just at the thought. “I love my naughty boys but its nice to see manners and… submission is not dead” he leaned forward and placed a hand on the boys back.

Even though the man was being nice he still had an air of dominance about him, It was in his nature, it was apart of him. 

Johnny listened to what the man had to say, his lips moved into a soft smile at the laugh. He’d rather make someone laugh than make them yell at him any day, not that he usually found himself to be that funny. “Oh,” he replied softly as the man explained. The omega still couldn’t say he understood what had made the other man proud about that, but he wasn’t going to argue about it either, he was just going to take the compliment and leave it be.

The touch on his back surprised him. It had been awhile since he’d actually had a gentle touch from someone, not someone whose goal was to hurt him. He was safe, Johnny repeated in his head. And even though he hadn’t known the other man long, Johnny believed it. A part of him wanted to cuddle up against him, and allow himself to fully relax for the first time in a long time. But, he settled for just pressing himself lightly into the hand. “Yeah,” he said and nodded his head. “’M feeling a lot better, just tired, mostly.”

“I’m sure we can think of something.” He replied, leaning back in his chair as he watched Johnny squirm. He got up, pulling the chair the prince sat in out with grace as he walked around it. “What should payment be?” He mused, a mischievous and partly evil idea came to mind as he stopped, standing before him. “How about a little tit for tat? The pacing around him made Johnny feel like a caged animal, trapped, as he watched Luke circle him again and again. Johnny was glad he wasn’t eating or drinking anything as Luke walked around him, because he was pretty sure if he had, it would have been spat out in shock at the other man’s suggestion. There were a lot of things that crossed his mind, but even as much as he did find the other man attractive, that had not crossed his mind. This one was different, he liked him already. Johnny moved slowly toward the bed, inhaling slowly as he did. The room was filled with the scent of the other man and some others, but the older man’s scent was strongest in Johnny’s nose. He blushed lightly at the compliment and sat on the end of the bed. It probably wasn’t polite to stay so quiet when the man was saying nice things to him. “Thank you,” Johnny said softly even as he tried to wrap his mind around what he’d done to make the other man proud of him. It was a thank you for the compliments, but also for letting him into his home, giving him a place to sleep for the night and food. “You’re...you’re proud of me?”

The young werewolf wanted to curl up on the bed, it felt so soft under him as his hand felt the sheet. He could make himself small, so he would hardly take up any room at all, and he wouldn’t bother him. It was the first time Johnny had felt safe, like he didn’t need to be ready to run at any moment, for a long time.

“Hey buddy” Ezra sat up in bed making sure the new wolf boy didn’t see too much. He had found him in the woods, naked, cold and hungry. When Johnny heard the voice speak, he froze, instinctively trying to make himself seem smaller and appear like he was not a threat. Because honestly, he wasn’t. Johnny would run away from confrontation instead of fight, maybe it was his omega nature, but he also felt it was just part of his personality. “Hi,” he said softly and gave a small smile as he lifted his gaze to look at the other man for a moment. But then it was quickly back down, not wanting to seem like it was a challenge of any sort.

“Well that is a shame.” Luke smirked, looking him over before actually eating.

“Sire, we received word-” A knight started as he quickly threw open the door.

“From my brother.” Luke finished, “What does he want?”

“He requests assistance in his campaign in the north.” The knight finished.

Luke leaned back, sure he could find men to help but then an idea hit him. “What do you think my dear prince? Should I send your people to war for a flag not their own or should I grant them quarter?” He asked the prince, eyeing him as he waited for an answer.

As the door was thrown open, Johnny startled slightly and looked over, his eyes moved between the knight and Luke at the exchange. When he was addressed the Prince set down his orange and contemplated what Luke asked. What would you want in exchange for granting them quarter?” he asked. Surly such a thing would not be given without Luke wanting something in return. He hoped it was something he could do because the thought of sending his people into war for Luke’s brother did not sit well with him.

On that note, I do kill people who get in my way of what I want.” he sighed, picking at the food. “I prefer life on my ship. You need fruit on a ship or you die, I’d rather not.” He muttered with a heavy sigh. “It didn’t have to be like this. Your father was the one who came out swinging a sword. That is why he is in the dungeon and you are up here. You don’t have a sword to swing around. Well,” He paused, cheeks turning red, “Not one that can kill anyways.” he snickered.

Johnny kept his lips together, he didn’t find what Luke said to be funny or amusing in any way. He knew the fate of himself, his family, his people rested with him and how he handled Luke. He could either make things better for all of them, or screw up and make things worse. He didn’t want to make things worse. With a nod of his head as Luke talked about needing fruit, he picked up an orange and busied himself with peeling it slowly. A part of him wanted to argue, wanted to say if Luke had gone about things differently maybe his father would have been more accommodating. But the sword comment, the sexualness of it made him blush lightly. “I don’t really do sword swinging,” he said simply and tried to focus on his orange.

They’re pretty good.” He nodded, “So you’ve never been on a boat or been to the ocean? Ever? Well.” He hummed, walking into the great hall and to the table where food was waiting. “Please, sit.” He said, motioning to the chair beside his. “I insist.”

Johnny could not help but wonder why one would need a blackberry that looked like a raspberry, and simply replied with, “Oh.” He shook his head at the question, he’d never been on a boat, never even considered it really. Here was his home. He walked into the great hall looking at it as if he was seeing it for the first time. When Luke offered, Johnny moved and sat next to him before he said, “So, is that what you do then? Go places and take their fruit back with you?”

Johnny walked into the coffee shop and got in line to get a drink. Honestly, he was a bit nervous, and he could feel his anxiety was higher than normal. All he could do was hope that this would go well. He’d talked to Maks online, gotten to know him a bit, but this was the first time that the two would be meeting in person. Maks knew he was inexperienced, both sexually and in relation to submission, Johnny had not hidden that as much as he might have wanted too, but he also did not want to look like an idiot when he didn’t know things. “Berries.” Luke said bluntly, “strawberries, blackberries, Logan berries, raspberries. Hopefully these apples when I take them home.” He said anxiously. “Have you ever been on the ocean? I’m not sure where your boarders end but you aren’t the port we landed in.”

Johnny nodded his head a little as he walked. He’d at least heard of most of the berries that Luke had mentioned, knew what they looked like at least, but he didn’t remember ever hearing about Logan berries. “What’s a Logan berry?” he asked and then shook his head at the question. “On it like in a boat? No. I saw it once when I was younger though.”

“Good.” Luke nodded as he walked over. “Then let’s walk.” He ordered as he headed down the hall. “We don’t have apples at home, didn’t  see one until we landed here. Certainly something I”m going to take home with me. Apples and oranges. Though, I don’t think we can grow oranges, too cold.” He said, chatting as they walked. “Do you have one? A favorite fruit I mean?” He rambled, not wanting to have a one way conversation with himself, he’ d had plenty of those and they weren’t really fun.

Johnny turned without comment and started to walk with the other man, keeping pace and walking next to him as they moved down the hall. “Oranges,” Johnny said for a moment wondering how his life had become talking about fruit with this man. “Oranges are my favorite fruit. I like apples, but more in things then just by themselves.” he said, and then wondered what sort of fruit Luke was used to if they did not have apples or oranges. What was the weather like there that it was too cold to grow oranges? “What sort of fruit grows where you live?”

“Hi Johnny, it’s a pleasure to meet you, I’m Cayden,” he introduced with a soft smile, he found his mate’s clumsiness rather endearing, there was nothing cuter in Cayden’s opinion than a clumsy wolf, and Johnny was definately the cutest of them all, he was beautifull and looked so soft and sweet that Cayden could barely wait to sink his teeth in, but he resisted, chuckling at the other’s eagerness to touch, “Like what you feel sweetheart?” and as if to wordlessly say that he was alright with the gesture, he carefully reached out as well, letting his fingers stroke through his mate’s oft hair and trail down his smooth, beautifull face

“It’s nice to meet you too,” he replied with a soft smile, remembering his manners. Cayden, he said the name in his head, liking the sound of it. And in all honesty, he liked the way his own name sounded from his mate’s lips. “Mm-hmm,” he mumbled softly and closed his eyes as he felt Cayden’s fingers run through his hair and over his face. The omega took that as permission and moved closer to the Alpha. Johnny inhaled his scent, it was nice, calming, and Johnny didn’t think he’d ever get sick of it. He wanted to just tuck himself against the Alpha and stay there. They would have forever together, Johnny reminded himself. He tilted his neck in submission, knowing that he needed to be marked, but glad his mate was  taking this slow.

Luke finished pulling his shirt down before grabbing an apple. God the apples here made teh entire campaign worth it, the people and land were just a bonus, and on the topic.  He couldn’t help but smirk as the saw the Prince being led in. “Well hello to you too.” He mumbled, taking a bite of the apple and moaning, “God these are good.” he mumbled as he chewed. 

He eyed the prince as he finished chewing and then cleared his throat. “The guards say you wont join me for dinner. Is this true?” He asked, watching intently as he waited for an answer.

Johnny watched him eat the apple, not commenting on either remark that the other man made. It almost made him wonder what apples were like where Luke was from that these were so good. Apples were apples, and he’d had them many times in his life without giving it much thought. Don’t focus on his lips as he eats, Johnny reprimanded himself. Why did he have to be so attractive? 

At the question he paused before speaking, weighing his options. If he declined, what would the other man do? If he said yes, what would the other man do? He’d said no to begin with because what did that make him if some part of him actually wanted to have dinner  with Luke? “I’ll join you,” he said.

It was only now that Johnny actually took the time to really look at his mate. He was very attractive, and without thinking Johnny found himself reaching out wanting to touch his chest, to feel the muscles of his mate.
