Billie Holiday was an iconic jazz singer of the 1930s in New York, and she embodied the perseverance of an urban jungle in a time of depression. She poses as a part of the New York skyline with a jewel hanging from her neck as the water glistens and the fish are jumping.

Deadline for submissions is a week from today(June 28th, 2016). Each piece must include all six elements. All mediums and forms of art are accepted, just keep it SFW. This means that you can write a song, do photography, write stories, make a pretty meal or whatever else your heart desires to do! Please don’t hesitate to ask any questions through the ask box.
