There is not a day that goes by where I don’t regret what I did. I wish I could go back, when you asked me ‘why didn’t you?’. Believe me I wish I had and now I wish I could. Have you ever looked at someone and thought “you are flawless”, everything you say, do or believe either made me laugh or cry. You brought a raw emotion, a burning, scolding fire, out of me. I could of sat there for hours just listening to you, hearing your laugh and watching you smile. And I did. I genuinely look at my life now and think ‘what if I had? What if things had been the way they should?’, I know in the deepest, furthest part of my emotions, in my regret, that our paths we gently stagger down now, would have been entwined. We were made to be together, but it was my fault. My fault, not yours, it burns me when I think of those harrowing words ‘why didn’t you?’. You know, on that day when I lost it, my temper had flared like a bubbling, unforgiving pit of magma, when I reacted and spewed my vile hate at everyone, to which I still have no excuse. That night, the way you looked at me, I’d let you down, I saw it in your eyes. Those eyes that I had gazed into in awe, now cut me like the sharpest blade. For that I’m sorry, but that wasn’t my worse mistake. This we both know. Setting you further down that path, when I introduced you to him, just because I was taken, that also, wasn’t my worse mistake, even though now, he won’t let us talk or see each other as friends. We both know what it was, it’s obvious, always has been. When we sat there and I told you ‘You remember when we was on the train heading home from Camden, I wanted to kiss you that night’ and you said ‘why didn’t you?’. That was when I saw it, my biggest mistake….. I love you
