in honor of finishing the series, here's my cheat sheet for how i remember the hammer dracula films.
"I always felt a little sad for him because he was a young, vibrant mind trapped in an aging body that got older and older. His mind never aged. His brain never aged. His curiosity and his sense of humor were all unchanged. And yet he had a body that was getting harder and harder to operate, if you like. I mean, Christopher always was one level unchanged, you know, in terms of his personality, his sense of humor, and his skill as an actor. Between my experience with him, you know, over the 10-year period between Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, it wasn't really anything different, but by the time The Hobbit came around, he was definitely very frustrated with his failing body. He hated the restraints that were happening to him through the aging process. That was because his mind wasn't aging, his brain wasn't aging, and yet he was trapped in this body. I did find him very frustrated with himself, with his physical deterioration. Yeah, he was a little bit depressed about that as opposed to the Lord of the Rings, where he flew to New Zealand and was playing golf, and, you know, there was no real issue at the age of 80. He was great in Lord of the Rings. But at the Hobbit, 10 more years had taken their toll on him. But beyond that, though, he was still the same bright young mind. His mind was always young no matter how old his body was. He had a very young mind."
- Peter Jackson on Christopher Lee
Allow me to introduce you to a new Christopher Lee OC I made!
His name is Christoph Erbhart, I made him as a partner for Cushing’s General Spielsdorf (since he doesn’t have a first name, I decided to give him one: Nikolas)! Basically, they used to be lovers in the army but got separated after Christoph was wounded in battle. They reunite after the events of Vampire Lovers because I need my boi to have a happy ending 🥺🥺🥺
More thoughts/observations about the Christopher Lee AI Slop Documentary, and the latest Severin Eurocrypt of Christopher Lee Boxset
I can't help but imagine that after enduring all this, when Saxton stood with Wells at the edge of the cliff, looking down at the burning wreckage of the train, he suddenly snapped back to himself, realizing the sheer horror they had just experienced. His usual unshakable poise gave way, leaving him feeling vulnerable and distraught. Then, almost instinctively, he turned to Wells and asked if he’d like a cup of hot tea—and Wells, in turn, comforted him gently, as though soothing a big, distressed dog.XD🥺🥺🥺
My opinion on the trailer of the new Dracula:
How to Feed a Vampire?
I've been wondering—for vampires, are medical blood bags basically the canned food of their world?
Kitty Dracula refuses this stuff.
And this stuff too.
Lorimer is about to show Dracula what true social finesse and human darkness look like XD
Christopher Lee as Father Michael Raynor in To the Devil a Daughter (1976)

Now they are complete. The Holy Trinity of Horror. Vincent Price, Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing ink drawings
I showed my dad The Brides of Dracula a couple days ago and while we were watching it he said that Baroness Meinster looked like Grimsby from The Little Mermaid lol
He didn’t mean it as an insult, he was just saying that she had a very old-timey look about her.
some Lorri and Meowsing sketches (details under cut)
Just...this type of scene with Connie!
