Hi :) Could you possibly write some dialogue prompts between a pairing when they first meet, but one is a mind reader? If you can then thank you so much.

1) “I know you’re scared,” the mind-reader said softly. They held their hands up and stayed back, tracking the flux of the other’s emotions. “I know you’re angry and hurt. But this is not the way to fix this.”“What the hell do you know about anything? You know nothing!”“I know everything. I know what they did. And I’m going to help you.”

2) “Thank you. I tried very hard on this outfit,” the mind-reader said.“…you’re a telepath.” And oh god, they’d just started mentally rambling about how gorgeous they were and thought they were being subtle about it! “And you’re cute,” the mind-reader said. “I would love to go out for dinner.” 

3) “It must be exhausting,” they said. “Constantly tailoring yourself anew to every person you meet. Hearing their thoughts and making yourself perfect in response to them. Anticipating every need.”“I don’t-” The mind-reader swallowed hard. Thrown. They saw everything - they weren’t remotely used to being seen. “You have the gift too?”“I’m not a telepath, no. But you did just confirm the hypothesis for me, thanks.”

Autumn Inspired Prompts

You’re a vampire and I’m a witch, we both go to this private school in New England that has a small population of supernatural students. We meet because I need a vile of vampire venom for a potion and my demon best friend said you’re the person to talk to.

We go to a school for supernatural beings and you’re the cutest witch I’ve ever seen but you’re kind of intimidating.

I’m a fairy and my parents told me to never get myself involved with a witch but you’re so sweet and kind and not anything like I was told about witches.

We’re both from ancient supernatural families and our kinds hate each other but to end the centuries of fighting we are to be wed.

There our seven lines of ancient witches referred to as the Seven Devil, there are certain alliances amongst the families and certain feuds. One night a whole line is whipped out, they were an ally of my line an enemy of yours. You’re suspected of being apart of the killings but I can prove you’re innocence. The only problem is our lines are enemies as well and my family advises me not to because it’ll give our line more power. (Bonus: My line was actually behind whipping out the line because they were power hungry and framed your line)

I’m a witch and one night while I’m walking home I’m murdered by someone or something unknown. But a few day later I wake up in the morgue. I got my friend who says that I was saved due to vampire venom in my system, vampire venom in small amounts can slowly heal someone but they’ll appear dead until they’ve made a full recovery. I try to find the vampire who saved me and find you. You tell me you found me bleeding out, near death on the side of the road while you were walking into town so you bit me to save me. (Bonus: You help me find the person or thing that tried to kill me)

I’m a witch and there’s a witch hunter in town and he’s been following me around for the last few days. One day he corners me in the woods near town while I was collecting ingredients for a potion and tried to kill me but you come out of nowhere and save me by killing him. We make eye contact before you run into the woods. Who are you and why did you save me?

I’m a werewolf and have some serious anger issues and you’re a witch who makes theses amazing calming potions with lavender and every time I come in to buy some you me a free lavender candle and every time I light it I’m instantly calm and can’t stop thinking about you.

I just transferred to this private school and all the students talk about the werewolves who roam the forest that surrounds the school for miles, some are even rumored to attend the school. I don’t believe them because wolves are common in this area and werewolves obviously aren’t real. But then one night decide to go for a walk in the woods because it’s a full moon and there’s a light fog so how can I resist and I’m pretty damn sure the cute person from my history class just turned into a wolf, what the hell?

You and your friends are rumored to be descendants of supernatural beings and you’re pretty well liked by everyone but everyone’s also kind of afraid of you. Of course most people don’t believe in the supernatural, but I’ve seen somethings and I’m pretty sure not only are the rumors true but there’s way more to it.

Your a descendant from a famous alleged supernatural being and I’m doing a report on them and how it’s affected your family. You agreed to let me interview and after doing a lot of research I realize that you’re not a descendant of that person but are in fact that person who’s been alive after all these years.

We’re best friends, I’m a vampire and you’re a witch. Shenanigans ensue.

Stiles and Derek hanging out like all the time. Stiles asking one day, “are you attracted to me?”

And Derek regarding him kind of incredulously at the question, which is seemingly out of nowhere and asked with such seriousness that Derek doesn’t have a chance to really process it.

Stiles telling Derek that his friend from school was confused when Stiles mentioned going on a date with someone because they thought Derek was his boyfriend based on the way (and frequency) Stiles talks about him.

“She was all like, why aren’t you dating? And I thought, ha, because,” Stiles tells Derek. “But then I was like…cos I couldn’t come up with an actual reason. So now, I’m wondering…why aren’t we dating?’

And before Derek has a chance to respond Stiles pushes forward, “so I thought maybe you aren’t attracted to me cos that would do it. Probably, so like?” And Stiles is looking at Derek expectantly. 

Derek regards him for a moment before speaking. When he does he shrugs and says, “we aren’t dating because neither of us has asked the other out.”

Which is probably not what Stiles is expecting for an answer. “So are you saying if I were to ask you out you would say yes?” Derek is trying not to smirk and Stiles knows the look well, it’s sort of devious and adorable all at once. It makes Stiles’ chest constrict and he feels his stomach somersault.

“I am attracted to you,” Derek finally says. Stiles feels his face heat which is annoying because he’s trying to play it cool. He feels his pulse spike so it’s pretty much a total loss. 

“So, that’s a yes?” Stiles confirms.

“Yes, I will say yes if you ask me out,” Derek tells him. Stiles nods.

“So, do you like…wanna get dinner tonight?” Stiles asks, still sort of nervous because he’s not sure totally that Derek isn’t fucking with him. 

“I’m free now,” Derek says. Stiles swallows the choked sound of surprise in his throat. Derek is smirking at him now.

“Me too,” Stiles nods. Which should be obvious because they’re actually hanging out together and have been for the past half an hour.

And that is how they end up on their first date.

Derek From The Club

Sterek | Outsider POV | Future Fic (non-canon-compliant b/c canon’s future was stupid anyway) | ~1650 words

This is absolutely not what I was supposed to be working on, but given that I haven’t had the mental capacity to write anything for several weeks now, I’m just letting my fingers do whatever they want.

Kendra felt like she was flying high, and the night hadn’t even started yet. Because she? She had done the impossible. “And a beer,” she said, finishing up the group’s order at the bar, “for Stiles.”

Jamie jumped as if she’d goosed him. “For Stiles? You actually got him to come out with you?”

She was in the middle of nodding smugly back when his gaze moved past her shoulder and his jaw dropped.

“Uh, yeah, I guess you did…”

Too short to see whatever he was seeing in the reflection of the mirror behind the bar, she turned around so fast she nearly knocked over the tray Jamie’d been loading up for her. She groped for a shot and knocked it back.

Because Stiles Stilinski, weirdly brilliant, oddly reserved, talkative but incredibly reticent Stiles, who only accepted one out of approximately every ten offers to socialize with his classmates and then spent the evening either with his back to the wall or dancing briefly in platonic friend groups, was standing in the middle of the dance floor making out with some guy in tight jeans and too much stubble.

“Well, he sure works fast,” Jamie said, somewhat acerbically now that he’d gotten over his initial shock, not that she blamed him, given how he’d been mooning over Stiles all semester and gotten not a single flicker of interest back.

Stiles wound his fingers into the guy’s hair and Kendra handed Jamie one of the shots. Sure, he was working, but he definitely needed it.

Stiles and the guy (who was, yes, incredibly hot) finally broke apart long enough for Stiles to turn back toward the bar, though not, Kendra noted, before grabbing the guy’s wrist. Stiles towed the guy over just close enough to Kendra that he could be heard over the noise. “Hey, Kendra, sorry, but I’m gonna head out. I’ll see you in class on Monday, yeah?”

All she could do was nod.
