OMG. Three letters that I oh-so-silently uttered after seeing some of the 25,000+ thumbnails as a result when I tried to search the hashtag #mirrorshot in Instagram. The point? C’mon, it’s not like I asked for it, say I click #wannabepornstar, #comeseemytits or #sexyorskanky. It never crossed my mind at all to prepare myself for the sweet treats. Hypocrisy aside, I know it’s perfectly normal to stumble upon such kind of slutty, I mean sexy photos on the web and it’s absofreakinglutely normal that there are people out there who will be damn proud to post it as a way of garnering popularity online.
And man did they succeed to catch my attention and I have wholeheartedly allotted a space for them in my Tumblr. I was stupefied to see that the majority of the said hashtag were these kind of amazing, smashing, stunning photographs with such beautiful composition, excellent scenery and perfect perspective…

It's been a year since I was crowned as Bb. Laguna Turismo. I didn't expect it at all but I must say, it feels absolutely wonderful to be awarded for something you truly deserve. 26 lovely candidates from all over Laguna did their best to vie for the title, but there could only be 5 winners, of which three where titleholders and 2 were runner-ups. At the beginning, I was more of a pessimist that I prepared myself to win as runner-up only. However, as the contest proper approaches, I realized something, 'I don't want to look back at this moment full of disappointment, wherein I know I could have proved myself and done my best, but did not'. And now, the time has come for me to pass on my crown. I regret to inform everyone that I cannot be there, as I am out of the country for work. So I'd like to send my deepest apologies to the pageant committee, to my Futari family and to all the Lagunenses. I might have failed to grace you with my presence but I want you all to know, that wherever I may be, I am always proud of the beautiful province of Laguna and its people.

There's no question that this redhead is a major knockout! I don't know with you but I have yet to watch a movie of hers that had not been impressive and enjoyable at all! To name a few are House Bunny, Crazy, Stupid, Love and a her hit lead role film, Easy A. I mean it's a cliche but her beauty to me is like a breathe of fresh air! Her acting skills are exceptional and really lives up to the role, not to mention her wits and sense of humor is just exuberant! Emma, you rock!
It was past midnight when I arrived in Club Cubic and as expected, the place was just getting filled since it was the week of Macau Grand Prix. My friend and I looked around to see if some people we knew were there. After a while we decided to get drinks and on our way to the bar, I managed to catch a glimpse of this tall, handsome European guy. He was wearing a crisp white shirt and jeans and was joined by a group of girls and another guy who looked Asian. It must have been an illusion but I thought he looked at me and saw that I was eyeing him.
1am
We found a spot almost near the entrance of the club and parked our drinks in the table. Quickly, my friend and I engaged ourselves into the usual girl talk. At mid-sentence, I paused when I saw The Guy, who held hands with an Asian girl, being dragged out of the club. I met his gaze for a few seconds and it was then I assumed that the girl was her girlfriend. I felt sorry for him, instantly.
2am
We saw a friend of ours and invited us to join his company, people that I have already met before in the same club. Booze was flowing freely on their table and everyone was having a good time dancing and drinking and laughing. A couple of guys tried to hit on us but it was no use. My friend and I got tired after awhile, agreed to take a rest and excused ourselves from the table just so we can get away from the unlimited supply of drinks.
3am
As we approach the bar to grab our own cocktails, I was a little surprised to see that The Guy and his 'girlfriend' has returned and are now dancing near where we stood. I honestly thought I would never see him again. I constantly kept on glancing at him and making sure he noticed it, for no apparent reason. And it was no hard task because I reckon he was one of the guys who enjoyed watching me and my friend's dancing, shaking, and grinding. Some guys walked up to us and after the small talk I turned my head to him and met his gaze once more, after he made a gesture, his finger tugging down his right eye, when one the ladies passed in front of him. I felt the sudden urge to speak at him because I caught him and so I mouthed the words, "Are you drunk?". Of course he couldn't know what I've said so it didn't take long before he came right to me.

We instantly fell into a conversation and were so engrossed with all the self-introductions. Naturally after awhile, I had to ask whether or not the Asian girl she was with was her girlfriend because I didn't want to cause a scene that would make the girl furious with him by talking to me for so long. He was taken aback with my question and explained that he was all alone when this girl approached him and invited him to join her group. After all the clarifications, I found out that he was in Macau for 3 nights, looking around the casinos and just about everything there is to know about the city. Coincidentally, he was staying at Galaxy, my workplace, but for the past two days I have not seen him in the hotel. However, fate must have been along my deck of cards that night because the next morning was my off from work and I was really anxious to go and see the Grand Prix in action. I suppose it was the perfect opportunity for a company since he wanted to have a look of the city and I wanted to watch the race. And so we agreed. When the sun shines, we were to meet at 1pm, Grand Lisboa.
1pm
I was 20mins late. Because of the Grand Prix, the roads were blocked and the taxis drove a different route. I sent him a text saying that I was stuck in traffic and at the same time asking if he has, by God's grace, arrived already. I didn't get a response and on my way to the hotel, there is a bit of panic inside of me. What if he's not coming? What if he did, but because I was late, he left? What if he didn't get my message? What if he's still sleeping? Or the worst, what if he never intended to come? As I got out of the cab, my heart was pounding. I was brisk-walking my way to the door, trying to shove people aside. And then I saw him. There he was, standing outside Grand Lisboa, gazing at the gray skies, patiently waiting.
2pm
We had our lunch at The Kitchen. They asked for my name and led us to our seats. It was a nice place, with a relaxing ambiance and delicious food. We were comfortable just talking and eating together. But the truth is, I was holding back a bit of myself because it's absolutely a lot more different when you're in a club and under the influence of alcohol compared to when you're in a daytime setting, sitting and having a meal together. But surprisingly, we still had a good time and we enjoyed the food as well. The bill came and he examined it quickly and immediately showed me something that made us both burst into a laughter. It was because of the addressee stated as, 'MR. SUMMER'. That's the story behind this name which he didn't mind claiming as hisM. After which we went to see the Grand Prix.
3pm
Unfortunately, it was still raining. So there is no way we'll soak ourselves just to get a 5-second glimpse of the racing cars. What we did then was to look around the casino and after a short while, we decided to play some Blackjack! He was just as excited as I was because I don't usually play in the casino, and as for him, he won a small sum in the Galaxy casino and was wondering if I will give him the same luck. Before we begun, he asked one major question. "If ever I win, will you go and have dinner with me?" Aww, isn't that sweet? I mean, we just finished having lunch and already I hear a dinner invitation?
5pm
Hours passed and boy did I give him luck! He exchanged a mere thousand but was able to up it to 5x. The funny thing was he only played small bets since we were buying our time to stay inside the casino while it was still raining and the next thing I knew, he just kept on handing chips because he was winning it. I was simply watching him the whole time but for some reason, I didn't get bored and was really into the game. When we got satisfied, we stepped out of Grand Lisboa but to no avail, the Grand Prix has already ended. So then I suggested I show him around, as promised, to a few other hotels he had not yet visited. In spite of the drizzle, we walked to Wynn Hotel and caught the Dancing Fountain Show. Inside we waited for the Fortune Dragon show. He wanted to have a slot machine ticket of each hotel in Macau as a souvenir so he puts in a hundred dollar bill and presses three times then prints the ticket. In MGM, he mentioned about the gondolas and my eyes just widened because I've always wondered what would it be like to ride in one!
7pm
Off we went to The Venetian Hotel. We were walking past the gondola strip and saw this white, cheery, big-bellied Italian gondolier who were singing his heart out to the riders of his boat. He had an awesome soprano voice and I almost immediately blurted out that I hope we get to have a ride with him! So we found the ticketing office and instead of joining other people, he opt for a little privacy and rented the whole gondola just for the two of us. We queued and once it was our turn, there comes the Italian gondolier who announced that he's gonna be paddling for us! What a delight! After the photo op, we begin the ride with the fat guy showcasing the interior of Venetian and also the shops alongside the strip. He's a real fun dude, both talking nonchalantly and singing amazingly, all the passers by couldn't help but stop to watch and listen to him with utter amazement. And must I say, what he did next, I never saw it coming. He stopped in the middle of the trip and said, "The next bridge is what we call, the Kissing Bridge. You have to kiss each other under the bridge for 5 seconds otherwise this gondola is not moving forward. We'll be stuck!"
What happens next, well, we reached the bridge and no one moved among us two, nor blinked an eye for this kiss. However this Italiano is really serious, and persistent! Not to mention that he rocks the boat from time to time and just scares you to fall off! But I am as well firm with my decision to not kiss this man! So I guess that leaves right up to him to do the move, so without having much of a choice here, he gave me a kiss on the cheek! Aha!

We got a souvenir photo of us in the gondola, and after that, we were right on time for dinner. I suggested a few nice places and he picked the Brazilian steakhouse, Fogosamba. I have been to this place once and must I say, it really lives up to its good reputation. The food is glorious, especially if you're a meat-lover like him, then this is the right place for you! The ambiance is quite nice, the staff are friendly and not to mention, the quality service. The music is groovy, Bossa Nova being one of my favorite genres. In total, he fell in love with the place just like I did. We enjoyed every bit of the moment, and just talk about everything out of the blue. It was going smoothly and I must say, it's the best date I've ever been to and it's not like I often go out with men. But this one is a keeper. He caught my attention from the minute I saw him and it felt like I'm in the right place at the right time, with the right person. Nobody wanted to end it but I had to work early the next day and he had a flight to catch. We were the last persons to leave the restaurant and if it weren't for the staff that had to go home as well, we could have just stayed there talking and laughing the whole night. It was truly unforgettable.
From known brands M.A.C., Bobbie Brown, L'Oreal, Escada, Coastal Scents, Revlon, Maybelline, Body Shop to local brands Fanny Serrano, Fashion 21, Ever Bilena and even unbranded ones. I just have tons of these stuff! I sorted out everything and discovered that I have shadows and lipsticks that've been around for almost 3yrs, which is totally not ideal! That's why I immediately threw it away and the not-so-new ones, I started using again. My aim is to get rid of the old make-ups before I start buying again.
