There was something about him now. Something about his voice that was just so...... sweet, so calming. Something about his presence that was warm and comforting. Something she would have never felt if not for, well, whatever it was that he did. It wouldn't be much of a surprise for her to drift off to sleep anytime soon.
Although she couldn't focus enough to make out what he was saying, the lull of his voice surrounded her, echoing through her blurry mind. Her eyelids slowly continued their fall until her eyes were shut, and as she was no longer part of the waking world, for once in her life, the psychic looked at peace.
Puck listened to her breathing until it became slowly constant and deep. He leaned back and crossed his arms, staring at her with mild curiosity. Amazing how this 'girl' made him make such a mess.
The ginger moved towards her and sat lightly on the bed, not disturbing her slumber, and patted her head gently. Seeing her at peace like this made him want to hide her from the Summer Queen. Usually, he'd not interfere with the taking even after he and the victim of Titania's amusement bonded but she was... different. He couldn't find the right word for it so it was enough.
