I was wondering what’s up with Tatsunami’s newest recruit during last basho, seeing that he had only fought (and won) a single bout in March, and none at all in May

Turns out he’s already retiring :/

I really hope he’s just had a change of mind, found a better option, and that there wasn’t any injury or even bullying involved

I admired Teruyutaka’s determination to join the brutal world of sumo, while stating that he’d been a target of bullying before -

I sincerely hope that my boys are better than that. I truly felt for the guy when Tatsunami’s latest video showed him eating his chanko all on his own 😔
