Who is running this event? Is there a theme for the prompts? I’m so out of the loop this feels like it’s just anonymously popped up.

Hi!

I, harvesterhexenon, am running this mini event by myself currently. Last year (2025) SumSladick was created, made its debut and this year it is back. It is rather lowkey and there is no theme for prompts, so like last year, just suggest your favorites or what you’d like to see in the google form (SumSladick Prompt Submissions).

> How do I participate?

You can post your work to the collection on Ao3 https://archiveofourown.org/collections/SumSladick (it’s the same collection as last year) and to tumblr by using #sumsladick

> What type of content is allowed?

Any rating, any dark content as long as you tag responsibly, explore the relationship to your hearts content

> What is the minimum requirement for this event?

The minimum word requirement is 700 words and the minimum art requirement is a completed sketch

> Are there catch up days?

No, considering the mini event only lasts 3 days, but the collection stays open regardless so you can still always submit your work

「Rules」

> All submissions must be Sladick-centric per the theme of this mini event

> The work should be a new work (finished, in-progress or a part of a series are allowed) don’t plagiarize or repost

> No hating on other works, be kind and respectful

Nearly a week late, but I’ve finally finished my day 3 work for SumSladick. Uses the prompt Jealousy/Possessiveness, with the additional Nightwing prompts of Royalty AU and Mythical Creatures AU.

Playing bodyguard to a spoilt prince is the last way Slade would have chosen to pay off his life debt. Fortunately for Dick, it’s not Slade’s decision.
