Frosty

so I may... have gotten a little bit carried away with krita brushes with this one. my inspiration was that freezer frost everyone gets and no outlines because its a soft shape. I will be honest I don't know what I'm doing with the backgrounds here just filling space.

I imagine this creature is great for shaved ice treats, since its coat is like a wooly sheep.

i'm doing Smaugust with Subjectively's list this year! yay! I have never done this before and I am SUPER late. oh well its good digital art practice.

This dragon is based on the bird of paradise flower! it already looks like a creature and it was the first thing I thought of when I think Tropical.

Doodles!! Life is good l, got busy and I'm going to be even more busy in the future 😔 work won't hire more hands and I'm going to be temporarily a cake decorator for a bit. I'm hoping they train someone in the mean time because we have a massive cake case that's super difficult to keep full: especially on the weekends. I hope I can keep making art in the meantime and keep up with posting.

I found a bit of old paint that I couldn't remember what I mixed into them from an old project. So instead of dumping them down the sink or risking them ruining a painting I painted squares! so many squares... 😱 I couldn't share every page but I pretty much filled half a sketchbook with painted squares 😅. But this opportunity is a great way too make thumbnail ideas, play with colour palettes and my favorite DOODLES~! Work is slowing down finally so I will have more time and energy to get back to the drawing board!

this is one of those failed paintings that will never see the light. I will be honest it was a "lets just paint" for painting sake and it didn't turn out well. I wanted colourful ground with white buildings. I just didn't like it at all and I have used it as a learning opportunity.

OH BOY, I do not know where to start with this one.

I hated the making of this piece. I had to, HAD to go out to a protest and "paint" on site, no exception by the teacher.

I hated the cause: protest about climate change, full well knowing that this does nothing because it was a TWO HOUR EVENT!!! hardly a protest. People had bought coloured paper for said event and I watched people throw them away AFTER IT!.

I LIED this was suppose to be a "painting" but it was a Ink drawing that I finished later out side of the event and then glued to a wooden board: no one noticed and were confused as to how I painted it like that.

why did I draw people being organized to be consumed by a corrupt Corporate monster? it's because THATS WHAT WE ARE CURRENTLY DOING TODAY!!! NOTHING HAS CHANGED! we are stuck as mindless consumers and are just live stock for our governments to take advantage of. no body liked this comment I made in class during critique, but no one spoke up either.

This is why I HATED this project, it was and always will be fruitless.

Not speaking out against actual organizations that are actually productive. I really want to support them and help teach others on a deeper level of how we are destroying our world, and what actions we can take to stop them. it starts with corporations, and government policies.

I do not make protest art this was a one time thing.

A cute little guy, so fluffy. Idky but barn owls are my favorite owl, it's the mysterious look in their eyes. I'm absolutely bewitched by them.

I had to design a random product idk, I was so over worked at the time, I cant remember what I was suppose to do. I was genuinely fried and I got very forgiving teachers, because I should had failed all 3 of them but they all passed me with a B. Thank the Lord.

This is how I feel on the inside when I have to clock in at my day job, when all I want to do is be at home with a paint brush in hand and painting.

This was suppose to be a riders mount, but I never got around to making its saddle. I'm generally happy with it, stout shape, robust muscles, cute appearance the perfect riding partner into battle. Shame I will probably never get a round to the saddle.

Is this drawing style any good?? like its pretty basic but I cant help but like the line work: however at the same time I feel like I could push it further... what do you think let me know I'm always open to critique.

A fun little drawing I did on-top of an old building idea for Minecraft. I make notes in sketchbooks all the time instead of leaving them ugly and undone I just make art on-top of them.

The combo of a Golden Setter, Longfin Mako Shark and a Texas Coral Snake. I'll be honest I just take what interests me in a animal and combine them into one creature, something that makes the most sense. with this one however I felt like adding quills to it. I find it adds a level of believability to it, while holding onto the shapes of a sharks tail fins while not being exclusively fins.

I really love the organic shapes you get out of candles on bottles or candle holders; so I really wanted to create a creature made from candle wax. using some sticks and some wood glue I made the base and just stuck some candles on there to see what would happen! I think it turned out very nicely. I didn't have this for more then 20 minutes before I knocked it over and breaking the base XD. man I'm clumsy Music From Pixabay by leberch-cosy-quirky-248029
