New au doodles! The Wild West!

William works in a hotel/bar, making sure each customer that wants to stay the night signs their name and is handed their key while his brother Jack works at the bar. William also went under the identity of known outlaw Maxwell the Shadow Man, who goes through the town, terrorizing criminals or folks he holds a grudge on, from shooting to taking them to the depths of the shadows.

Wilson is the local town doctor, patching up anyone that made the mistake of picking with criminals or getting into the crossfire of the outlaw's rampage. He and many of the townsfolk noticed that the outlaw has an odd soft spot for the doctor, threatening any criminal that went too close to the doctor. His bandaid disguise will be used to get closer to knowing who exactly who the outlaw is, since the mayor and sheriff are too terrified to spy on him on their own.

Hey guys, remember when I made a poll about the new tumblr community feature? Well it's finally here!

A place for everything, from art to game, related to the game Don't Starve by Klei Entertainement!

HOW TO JOIN?

Simply interact with this post (like,reblog,comment) , send me a dm or something in my ask box ( if you ask via my ask box make sure you say your username or just don't be on anon tho (I obviously won't be publicly answering the asks sent, I'll just send the invite and then delete the ask )) and i'll try to send you an invite!

If after a while I still haven't sent any invite, don't hesitate to try sending another message! I have no idea how many people will want to join and might miss some people :')

Currently, communities are in beta so you can't join them freely :( So I'll have to send individual invites to anyone who wish to join,,

What are communities?

The tumblr communities are a new feature currently in beta! In there you can post and reblog things, kinda like if you were on the classic dst tag, but here there's no need to filter any noisy web design company, posts about daylight savings or being touch starved or any other things that aren't don't starve related! You can also reblog stuff into communities as well as post! ( Doesn't even have to be your own, awesome right?)

How to post there?

Once you're invited, you can do a whole new post there, or reblog a post you made outside the community inside of it! ( I'd reccomend posting art outside and then reblog inside of the community)

For now the community feature is new and needing to send private invites obviously mean that it's not exactly open for everyone imediatly, meaning there might not be a ton of activities in there, but hopefuly as the feature starts leaving beta and become more open and easier to find thing's will start to pick up speed and be a bit more used!

( The community feature is obviously new to all of us, so I might make some oopsies and get things wrong as we discover this new feature together :') )

If you plan on joining don't hesitate to reblog too! That way more people can join and we won't just be a handful of people kinda confused and not using the feature :')

I can finally post these! For my Concept Design class, we had to take a character from one property and put it into the style of another! I chose to draw Maxwell from Don’t Starve and draw him in the style of The Owl House!

There’s also some more concept art includes his Rabbit Palisman, Jackie, him as a student at Hexside, and also Wilson!

Wilson is a potion maker who lives with Maxwell.

HEADCANON: Warly is very good with knives:

-He can throw knives right at the target;

-He knows how to "play with a knife" well. He sometimes does this while no one is watching, so as not to lose the skill. It happens that he loses;

-I'm not going to talk about his slicing speed, because that's the canon (cause he's a cook);

-He is not afraid of sharp blades at all, considering the knife almost an extension of his hand;

-He is one of those people who checks the sharpness of the blade with his finger;

-Has no fear of cutting himself. Even if he cuts himself, he will only hiss in pain, but not out of fear;

-Just because he knows how to use knives doesn't mean he knows how to use swords. In close combat, he is pretty useless, even though he knows where to hit, since he knows the location of many organs in creatures familiar to him.

Willow has become easier to live with the rest of the survivors and her mental state improves over time

DS and DST before the rework: Willow self-ignites due to low sanity. DST before the skill tree upgrade: Willow no longer self-ignites due to low sanity. DST after the upgrade: Willow has gained the ability to absorb fire.

My theory is that Willow went so crazy at the beginning of DS that for a long time she even caught fire, because fire is her way of returning to a comfortable environment where she feels safe. Fire is her friend, and that's all. He was the only one who helped her stay safe and sound for a long time.

But when she got to the survivors' camp, she was taken care of. Even from the musical, it is clear that she is tolerated and loved, that Wilson quite politely explains to her the reason for the danger of cutting trees at the moment. Willow is dangerous, she is insane, there are many sins behind her back, but despite this, the survivors are with her: they protect her, help her, feed her, etc. They are all a family together; a chain that will lose its strength without one link!

And this sense of family became therapy for her. The orphan has finally acquired some kind of parental figures who tolerate and help her.

This concern helped her to stop self-igniting, that is, to restrain her ardor and magic inside herself, without harming others. She's become more useful!

And after the upgrade, she had learned to absorb fire with her lighter. That is, she is now a very useful member of the survivors' society, because she can save the camp from the inevitable. This is excellent!

Thanks to this, we see its growth. She's still mean and tongue-in-cheek, but now she's much better and safer. She's still crazy, but not crazy enough to hurt those who don't hurt her.
