Behind said basket was Iwaizumi usual blank face, but his eyes showed just how anxious he was.

"I asked around" he mutters "can I come in?"

"Yeah sorry" you move out of the way for him to waddle in.

He set the basket down on the living room side table turning to face you now. "I just wanted to apologize for how I acted over text the other day. I just...I'm not used to people being genuinely interested in me without it being some ploy to get to my friends"

"That's terrible Iwaizumi, I swear that wasn't my intention. I really do like you"

"I like you too, I have for a long time. I always thought you were so damn pretty but never knew how to talk to you. And then when I saw you around all the other fangirls I just thought that I had no chance" He sighs trying very hard to keep his eyes on you and not look away like his brain was yelling at him to. "All this to say…I want to be your boyfriend if you'd let me"

"I'd love to" Since the beginning it was always him.

"Oh look who it is" Himari spoke rolling her eyes as you found a seat in the Oikawa fan section.

"I already told you two I'm here alone, don't bother me" you sigh sitting in the only open seat which was just behind Himari and Sora.

"Stop acting like everyone is interested in what you're doing" Sora spoke pulling a laugh from both girls.

You just exhaled choosing to ignore them as much as possible.

"What are you looking at so hard Iwa" Hanamaki asked trying to match where Iwaizumi was glaring.

"Nothing" he muttered rolling Hanamaki's hand off his shoulder.

"He's staring at Oikawa's fangirls" Matsukawa spoke up wiggling his eyebrows.

"He's looking at Yn" Oikawa now joined.

"Oh my god Iwa's little crush is sitting in Oikawa's fan girl section" Makki faked a gasp.

"I already told you guys she liked him" Iwaizumi grumbled.

"Do you hear yelling?"

All heads turned back to the fangirl section where a fight was now starting.

"Just be honest Yn, you set me up! You told Oikawa to toss my love letter" Himari yelled.

"I literally didn't say a word to him" you try to argue back.

"Oh yeah right" Sora rolled her eyes "you just wanted him all to yourself!"

"For fuck’s sake he's a person not an object! Neither of you own him, he isn't even dating anyone. And even if he was I doubt it would be either of you two"

"So you do want him for yourself!" Sora pointed accusatory, now standing.

"I don't like Oikawa" you groan.

"You're such a lair" Himari screeched.

"Goddammit I don't like Oikawa I like Iwaizumi" you yell back and of course the moment the words leave your mouth the gym goes quiet.

Suddenly aware of everyone watching and listening you look away from the girls and towards the court where you lock eyes with him, Iwaizumi, standing there with wide eyes and a look of pure shock.

"I have to go" you mutter grabbing your things and practically sprinting off of the bleachers and out of the gym.

"Oh, it's you" Iwaizumi approached your table. "Can I sit here? This place is packed"

"Good afternoon" you look up from your book. "Go ahead"

"What are you reading?" He asks sitting across from you.

"Just studying for midterms"

"Me too" he sighs "I don't understand this at all"

"Do you want help?" You ask almost instantly regretting it when he gave you a look, more like a glare.

"Can you?" Compared to the glare he was giving you his voice was oddly soft.

"Thanks again" Iwaizumi mutters as the two of you pack up for the day.

"No problem really, I was studying it anyway" you try to be nonchalant.

"Still I appreciate your help, usually Oikawa's fangirls avoid me like the plague"

How does every conversation always fall back to Oikawa, you think to yourself.

"They're just jealous of your friendship with him" you laugh it off. What you didn't expect was the snort Iwaizumi made before he began to laugh.

"God you guys are so stupid, Oikawa is so easy"

"You think so?"

"I know so Yn" he finally calms down from his laughing fit.

"Good to know"

"Thanks girl, I really owe you one" Himari squealed shoving the glittery letting into your hand.

"Don't thank me yet, who knows if he'll even take it" you sigh looking as the red glitter sprinkled off of the letter and onto your uniform and fingers.

"I'm sure he will" she says with far too much enthusiasm. "I have to get back to class, text me when he gets it!!!"

Before you could even respond Himari skipped back to class leaving you to embarrass yourself in front of Oikawa.

Speaking of Oikawa here he came, back to class after break walking side by side was him, Iwaizumi Hajime.

"Oikawa" you say softly trying not to draw attention from anyone else in case some of his crazy fan girls were nearby.

"Oh! Yn right? Is that..for me?" He leaned in a smirk plastered on his perfect face.

"Uhh yeah" you hold the letter towards him. Should you have said it was from your friend? Yeah. But you got nervous, never giving someone a love letter before even if it wasn't written by you.

"How annoying" your attention was drawn to Iwaizumi who looked...pissed. "I'm going to class Shittykawa"

"Don't worry about him, he's just jealous" Oikawa gave you a wink and laugh before walking past you into class.

ꨄ Sora and Himari are only friends because they both like Oikawa. Dont ask why

It was late, Ushijima had just dropped you off at home, and you were finally settling in for the night when a soft knock at the door spooked you.

Of course, you checked the peephole before opening up the door for someone in the middle of the night, you weren't stupid. But to your surprise it was Ushijima at the door.

"What are you doing back here? Did you lose something?"

"Yn" he spoke a bit out of breath as if he ran here. "Would you be my girlfriend"

Shocked isn't even the right word for how you feel when those words leave his mouth. It took you a moment to process which only made him more uncomfortable.

"I would like that" you finally say watching as his face lights up, which is only a small smile.

"May I come in?"

The restaurant was busy, and yet you ended up at a table in the far corner not many people close by.
