Kuro is Usagi’s first relationship it did not end well to say the least (edit: I just now realized that I’ve spelled his name wrong and never corrected it back then but I’m doing it now. So his name is Kuro not kuru but I might change it again since I don’t really like it anymore)

Akari is Usagi’s second relationship that also doesn’t end well

Anyway I head canon Usagi to be Pansexual since I don’t think he’s really interested in dating, in the show he just wants to be a samurai. But I do think as time goes on he does eventually find someone and I don’t think that he’ll take their gender identity too much into consideration also this is old art so I might draw them again soon.

honestly i kind of imagine leoichi to be the kind of couple that gets matching tattoos (not like- NAME tattoos, but matching meaningful ones yk), especially if they were to get married and use tattoos instead of weddings rings since those can come off in battle or smth

but that raises the question, what kind of tattoo would it be? they both use katanas, so maybe a katana on the forearm or something? i’ve seen some pretty examples of that. i can’t really think of anything else though, and the katana on the forearm is ugly to draw… LOL

also, the issue of usagi’s fur. it’s already explained in the show (albeit through a gag, but still) that fur would block the tattoo. dye doesn’t seem permanent enough compared to a tattoo. my mind immediately went to branding/scarification, but i’d definitely like to hear other ideas too

if anyone sees this, i’d definitely like to hear some ideas because i think the concept just fits older leoichi pretty well 🤔

Soo… it’s been a while and honestly I just feel tired from work and a bit burnout but hopefully I’ll get through it soon and make more art!

Though I might not make as much art as I would love to make with how long it takes me to draw now, which if you don’t believe me I started this drawing in 2024… and I have just now finished it mostly do to me procrastinating and not liking the way I was drawing it but in the end it’s finally done hooray! So hopefully future drawings don’t take too long to finish.

I love the head canon that '03 leosagi send each other love letters and I was thinking about how 2012 leoichi would send letters to each other

Leo's would be very matter of fact "here's a condensed life update. let's meet up at this time at this place" and Yuichi's would be incredibly vague but have a drawing for demonstration "I almost died last week but I'm okay! see you soon <3" and attached is a shockingly detailed drawing of said near death experience

I finished the rough sketch and honestly I really like it so I think I’m just going to clean it up a bit and then color it.

sorry it took so long to post I was busy with work and finishing my finals for school but I finished it like a two weeks ago I’ve just been busy.
