Hi! I'm sundrownsthehouse (she/her), sporadically writing Matty/George fic here on tumblr and on AO3!

Huge shout out to ALL of the fic writers here- you make the world go 'round and I have mad respect for each and every one of you. When I started this blog I was pretty active, but I'm trying to be more present in my day-to-day life, so I've dialed things way back.

I have a few unfinished fics that I'm simultaneously proud of and fucking horrified by; you're welcome to read them if you like, with the caveat that they may remain incomplete. I've thought about taking them down, but decided to leave them be for whoever enjoys them. Who knows! Maybe one day I'll get around to writing again.

This is so kind, thank you ❤️ It still kinda shocks me whenever I get a message like this that someone's reading something I wrote!

I'd planned to write more, and even have a whole plot laid out for the rest of Take This Pain that I'm honestly pretty proud of, but life has just gotten in the way sadly. I will get there! There might not be anyone left to enjoy it, but I'll finish the story eventually!

Writing is first and foremost just a way for me to relax and create, and I haven't had much space for that in my life lately 😔 I have a lot of change happening right now and I'm really struggling to sleep. There's an end in sight, but in the meantime, I've been a bit of a zombie.

All that being said, just want to say that while I'm not here much right now, I'm still so grateful for everyone I've met through this platform, online and in person! I feel so lucky to have stumbled into this world at all! Every kind message, every word of encouragement, it's really meant so much to me. So thanks again ❤️
