You know with the recent chapters I’ve been thinking a lot about one for all and how it’s been transferred eight times. 

The question that was on everyone’s mind when the first and second user were introduced to be linked was “how did they find out that OFA was a DNA transfer quirk?” and so obviously a lot of people ended up saying (me included) that there was some questionable choice…of…DNA exchange. Lol.

But what if that wasn’t actually how OFA was transferred? What if the way it was transferred was completely misunderstood and was actually more by will than by way?

Let me explain —

The first OFA user tells the second OFA user that “because you reached out to me, that was how OFA was truly born” and makes sure to show how their relationship was what most likely “saved” Yoichi and their bond was how OFA was originally transferred over to a new host.

Will of the user has a HUGE significance in OFA. The will of the user has always been directly linked and even can influence how OFA projects (the other quirks: ex. Black whip “I want to capture”) or through an emotional turmoil where the will of the user (their clear objective and goal: defeat Shiggy/ save everyone) gets corrupted. (Ex. Deku losing control of OFA after seeing bkg being stabbed: his will was corrupted from ‘defeat Shiggy and don’t lose OFA’ selfless to ‘I could care less abt what I’m supposed to do he hurt Kacchan’ selfish.)

Now it’s never been truly significant how exactly the quirk was transferred — just when and to whom. Who cares if it actually transfers through DNA? What does it matter if OFA transferred through the will of the user wishing the other user to have OFA? Why is it important? 

Well my friend it is so important…if I’m right.

Kacchan in the recent chapter has most likely died. I won’t sugar coat shit he’s definitely dead in some capacity. But that isn’t important right now — what is important, so incredibly important, is that bkg SAW All Might’s will as the OFA ghost.

No one but Izuku and the other users have seen what the inside of OFA looks like — much less the users inside it.

So what the fuck right? What does it mean?

It means that I think that OFA can be shared and transferred through will of the user BUT OFA is a quirk of feeling, of sacrifice, of love. Love is what guides OFA and “controlling the heart” or being one with your heart (your will) is what OFA reacts positively to.. I think Izuku at this battle or sometime else has willed Katsuki to share part of that access to OFAs spirit. And is Kacchan has spiritual access to OFA he has access to Izuku who has shared this with him — out of the will of love to be near and be like your love so much you could (through OFA)
