God I love Minecraft so much. Like Ive been playing it for the majority of my life, I don't remember when I didn't have Minecraft.
It feels like Mojang doesn't really understand what the fans want right now? Like they are probably one of the best studios in the industry, they treat their workers great and have an open relationship with fans.
But they're adding things that don't really fit in Minecraft that are not wanted by the fans. Not to beat a dead horse. but. What does the Warden add? Not really anything.
I feel like it should drop some fun, enjoyable mguffin that anyone can use. Casual players and technical players. It doesn't need to be complicated, make it like a teleport idk. And what's with the huge ass portal in the middle of the deep dark. It doesn't seem like theyre doing anything with it, unless they want it to be a huge surprise which doesn't seem likely. But then why add it? It's not really fair to players to taunt us with a new dimension and not give it to us.
Also I feel like a nice little slice of life update is needed. Add different dog breeds, different kinds of wood, mushrooms, crops. It doesn't have to be completely new, just something to add life to the world
Again I love this game and wouldn't be this passionate if it wasn't my favorite game ever, but I feel like the thought "Minecraft is an incredible game" and "it doesn't feel like the creators really understand that the fans want right now" can coexist.
