there should be more gratsu marriage proposal fics.

and because it's fairy tail, disasters are inevitable: natsu decides to propose to gray and only tells a handful of people. but every time he tries, he gets interrupted and more members of the guild end up knowing. to the extent that now everyone knows about his plan but he still hasn't been able to propose.

bonus (or alternatively): gray also plans on proposing and now it's a matter of who gets there first. the entire guild is sworn to secrecy by both of them respectively, not knowing that the members are already aware about the other.
