im a little late but, doctor who fans—how did we feel about aneurin in that episode !!
i was personally ecstatic the whole time, one of my fav actors in one of my fav shows and he did such a good job at playing that slimy politician :0 he really does suit those more evil/morally grey roles >:)
I think he stole the show. I melted when he said, "i will go to his Majesty.." This guy's voice!! 🫠🫠 But I think one episode wasn't enough for this story. It felt so rushed. The whole story and the characters could have been explored more if they made it in two parts. They kept saying Roger was awful, but we had to rely on their words instead of observing it ourself. And I don't mean that they should have put explicit scenes of Marti being abused or something like that. I mean that we could have learned more of his policies, their effect on people, his real face behind the cameras, as well as Ruby coming to terms with her situation. But they all did a wonderful job with the limited time they had. I hope Roger ap Gwilliam shows up again, tho. :'))
oh i Absolutely agree that the episode felt rushed/squished! it was confusing while watching, and even after a post-ep discussion and scrolling through many forums/threads i still felt confused/unsatisfied ;-; deffo could have been split into 2 episodes (plus more roger/aneurin storyline would be amazing hehe)
