Narumitsu Week 2026, Day 5 - Surprises

Rendered as promised :) the letting go of perfection thing didn’t really play out, though. All I can see are the things I wanna go back and fix…

I have this one headcanon that Miles has a 6th sense for when someone is about to give him a gift, and thus Phoenix can never surprise him with nice things (much to his chagrin). Nick gets flowers? Miles has a vase for them picked out before he can get in the door. Presents? Miles doesn’t even have to shake the box. Date night? Miles is dressed up already.
