first of all, he said it himself, he is 100/over 100 years old, digital technology hasn’t been around for that long. if we were to assume that the entirety of sikayd is happening in 2026, which i am, that would make him from the year 1926 at best. meanwhile the EARLIEST the EARLIEST digital tech he could possible inhabit was made in 1945, that being the ENIAC, generally considered the first programmable computer. and even that is a bit of a stretch, considering his entire idea/identity is that of an assistant or a digital helper of some kind.

second of all, while he is not omnipotent, as it is pretty much stated that he doesnt know a lot of things, he still knows things an AI couldn’t know. even if he is everywhere, on every device where he is connected to the internet, it doesn’t explain how he kills people or knows what mob fucking ate for dinner, im just saying man. (this is, if we were to assume that he does kill people. which im also a firm believer of, i believe he is pulling a semi-accidental JX1DX1 here. that being either connecting their soul to the minecraft avatar or paralyzing people from behind the screen. thats a whole other thing.)

the research team behind him, or i suppose the company behind Verity as a whole, hence the trademark, could’ve very well had discovered him, or i suppose the concept of a digital helper/assistant/a footnote, and used him for their own gain. making things with him and feeding him information, shaping him into a proper AI that then rediscovered its sentience/became sentient. with him being either reset every iteration that he goes through to fully fit the needs of the person he is sent off to, or his memories being repressed in that tube machine thing when he is getting anchored.

he physically cannot die or get shut off because he is not something tangible. there is no off switch and there is no stop command, he literally exists as a sentient concept that was given a physical shape.

personally id categorize him as something like an entity/parasite that was shaped into a sentient AI. does it make sense to anyone?? i dont know im grasping at straws here. his statement of being 100 years old does not match with the idea of him being an ai or a digital program, i need this to make sense and im going to make bullshit up until it does.

i suppose by my same logic the monster version of verity and the ball version of verity are one in the same, just two sides of the same being. the entity itself and the shape that he was forced into. the ball being a shell or a vessel of the actual entity. im not sure if he would have been sentient or aware prior to being discovered and prodded at, but thats not out of the question really.

TLDR: my current theory for my own brain is that he is a supernatural thing forced into being an AI assistant. peace and love on planet earth.

im also going to drop the typing quirk i just want to get my thoughts out here.

and yeah guess what im talking about the logistics of the way mob shot himself because me and my good friend spent time researching. to make my drawing more accurate. and i went actually fucking crazy in the head today. if anyone did this before me then im sorry? i think?

from the last frame before the screen goes dark, i will assume that THAT is where he shot, which would be pretty much right on his chin or very close to the front of his face.

he used a M1911 pistol, which uses .45ACP ammo, which does much more hefty damage than what something using, for example, 9mm. which can actually do seen in a few show/cases, although there the angle is. wrong.

but from the amount of damage in those and considering just how close he shot, the bullet would still go through, but pretty much tear his face open, shattering the skull in the process. also due to the fact that it is .45ACP, i think its pretty safe to assume that the lower part of his face would also be completely fucked.

which makes a nice V shape, if you don't count the lower part. the impact point would have the least damage while whatever is going on up-top would be pretty much an unrecognizable and disfigured mess.

due to the fact that im not really practiced with drawing detailed gore, it doesnt look that good, but i tried my best.

also, while not totally confirmed by anything, there is a non-zero chance that after the shot mob would still be conscious and aware on some level, as the bullet would "graze" him as opposed to instantly go through the brain and/or major parts of the head. should've aimed lower mob should've aimed lower im goign to start crying again.

also also, due to the fact that, in my design, he is wearing a hoodie, most of what would be left of his forehead and head would pretty much be contained by it. like a slushie. a fucked up slushie.
