Brother
When we first released ‘Brother’ back in February it was pretty emotional. We had a pretty clear focus that was driven by a pretty personal experience. April is the last month that 100% of sales proceeds of the single will go towards a beautiful charity that helps supports people who have courageously fought through miscarriage.
When releasing music I find the balance between constant plugging and complete silence is a really difficult one - and we most likely reached both extremes and achieved 0 balance. We didn’t set out with the expectation to make huge amounts of money because no matter what we end up donating on May 1st it won’t eradicate miscarriage.
Our aim was that we could create some awareness and maybe even make people feel okay to talk about their experiences more openly.
So here it is. One month left. Here is the plan:
For the month of April we are going to do as much as we can to get this song out to as many people as we can. We’re going to do our best to follow this up with information and places where people can get help and speak to others.
To do this we are relying heavily on anyone and everyone who is willing to help us spread the message. We don’t have a huge amount of reach on our own but we know that if other people help us get behind this we might be able to do something good.

Brother is a song about my would be brother.
I really believe that people should be able to talk about miscarriage - lets stop people suffering in silence.
We donate 100% of every sale to The Miscarriage Association on May 1st - if you don’t want to talk about it then help us donate, and if you don’t like the music then tell a friend about the cause.
