Where Is The True Love Story In House Of The Dragon

GOT House Of The Dragon Spoilers Below!

House Of The Dragon - similar to GOT- leaves you with more speculation about who is who and who really loves whom. It does not give explicit answers, but if you watch closely, you will find the answers. Similar to GOT, bad things happened in the past that you have the figure out and yes, the Night King is behind the scenes plotting!

There is something strange about most of the couples in House Of The Dragon. However, the standout couple is Viserys and Alicent – The closest link to Jonsa! They know more than they are letting the audience know. I do believe they love each other. Positives about this couple - they mirror Ned and Catelyn Stark. A political marriage that bloomed into love. Viserys facial expression when Alicent entered Rhaenys’s wedding ceremony dressed in her beautiful green gown was to die for! King Viserys was floored by Alicent’s beauty. Also, they made 4 children together! It became more than a political marriage. Alicent was always there for him. I kinda feel this is a Jonsa origin story (However, I am not ready to go there yet.)  Viserys and Alicent’s relationship is allowing us to see what it would have been like for Jon and Sansa to rule together in Kings Landing. (something we did not clearly see in GOT)  On the negative side, However, there is something strange about them. Some character issues for Alicent and Viserys. Viserys desire for a son at the expense of his 1st wife; Alicent’s desire to protect her children at any cost – makes their character a little dark. (Interesting observations - none of Alicent’s children have her color hair. In episode 7, King Viserys called Alicent by his late wife’s name Aemma) So are they good or bad? – I believe what I saw in GOT – Alicent and Viserys are working for the realm. The answer is they are the GOOD GUYS! (fingers crossed. lol)

The Night King with his army of the dead have always been the bad guys! I have my theory of the orgin of the Night King and the Night King’s son. to be continued

Will we see the origins of The JONSA Love Story in House of The Dragon?

Warning spoilers below.

So I finally gave in and watched the full season of House Of The Dragon. I was still upset about not getting an explicit answer regarding JONSA in the finale Of GOT.

To be clear, I still loved Game of Thrones – The Long Night episode was awesome! However, they did not give clear answers for Jonsa and few other stories. The audience was just  focused on Dany becoming the Mad King (no surprise to me)

Ok, so now we have House Of The Dragon (Excellent show!) and the show runners have another opportunity to reset and show us the orgins of JONSA.

I am glad I watched House of The Dragon because it helped explained why Jon was so hesitant to see Dany’s madness. Jon’s affection for Dany was more of a Mother/Son relationship. In GOT, I believe Jon was the rebirth of Lucerys and Dany was the rebirth of Rhaenyra Targaryen. "Dany" sounds like mommy.

So the Jonsa reveal will probably be with different actors playing Jon and Sansa. It should be Epic!

Gamora And Peter – Ain’t No Mountain High Enough To Keep Me From Getting to You

GOTG Vol 1 and vol 3 spoilers.

Yes, we are saying a tearful good-bye to the GOTG, without getting explicit closure/answers for Gamora and Peter love story. We have to trust what we saw on-screen between the two of them. I believed in Gamora and Peter’s love after watching the ending of vol 1 - as the song Ain’t No Mountain High Enough played. The way they looked at each other was priceless.  I am sticking with my belief that Gamora and Peter’s love survived and they eventually will end up together again.

GOTG Family unit with Gamora and Peter as the Mother and Father to Drax, Groot,  Mantis and Rocket. Gamora and Peter as siblings to Nebula, which propels Nebula to become a humanitarian leader.

In a sense, we should view GOTG Vol 2 as the end of the trilogy.

The audience has to put the hints together to see that Gamora and Peter have a backstory and  eventually will end up together again. Keep in mind that because of alternate timelines, Gamora and possibly Peter may look different.

My crazy thought is Peter’s grandfather is an important source of information regarding the alternate realities of Gamora and Peter’s love story before GOTG.

GAMORA AND PETER – DESTINY

GOTG vol3 SPOILERS BELOW

GOTG vol 3 was emotional. Tears fell as I watched GOTG vol 3, specifically when Gamora walked away from Peter and paused; and when Peter goes back home to earth to reunite with his grandfather.

The Director, James Gunn, did a fantastic job getting you to love all these characters.  By far, Gamora and Peter shared the most beautiful moments. It is clear they were meant to be together.

Peter’s ending bothered me the most. Mainly because for the first time, Peter did not have any musical device on him. At the end, he gave his ZUNE music to Rocket.  Someone usually dies when the music and device is gifted. I think this indicates Peter’s character is about to change.

Also, people are already speculating about another relationship for Peter. Bad idea as it will be a re-bound relationship. The new power couple in the GOTG will be Nebula and Drax. I Love that Gamora never gave up on the Nebula. Ironically, Gamora all along was building a family for Nebula with the GOTG.

I still believe Gamora reunites with Peter on Earth and they build a life together there.

This Picture Continues the story

This is not just a set picture. It continues the story!

Young Gamora comes back to Peter! They are a couple again. This picture proves it.

However, Peter looks different. He is not goo goo eyes for Gamora. A little withdrawn.(Maybe he aged?)

Gamora’s role looks like she is comforting Peter and his sister Mantis. Anyway, looks like they become a couple again.

I think Nebula looks strange. She is not a smiler. Other writers think that big smile is a sign of happiness.

Too many unanswered questions. Will Marvel answer them. I hope James Gunn comes back and produces a mini volume 4. (Zoe and Dave come back please.)

Gamora and Peter - piecing together the finish

Gotg3 spoilers below

Unlike Vol 1 and Vol 2, GOTG vol 3 is too sad/dark to rewatch. Vol 2 is my favorite, especially the scene where Peter and Gamora are dancing in a place looking like Heaven. I always imagined that Gamora and Peter would do the final dance scene to end the Trilogy.

In vol 3, it was very sad to see Peter in such distress over the loss of the original Gamora; and the realization that Young Gamora is this mean -Thanos influenced -being. The important thing is Peter's love for Gamora is still grounded and despiete his love for her, he faced the truth about this Younger Gamora. In fact, when Young Gamora grabbed his arm to get his attention and told him to abandon Rocket. What did Peter do – He removed her hand from his arm and walked away from her! Let's not forget, in order to save the universe, Peter did pull that trigger to kill the love of his life – Gamora. (The real question is why did Gamora need Peter to do it? She could have killed herself? I suspect she knew she was pregnant with Peter’s child and did not have the heart to do it.)

I do believe that Gamora and Peter will get a second chance at a happily ever after ending – their love for each other will endure. However, they have a few more obstacles to get over.

I believe Peter will be reunited with the Original Gamora on earth. She is there waiting for him before dying; but will not look the same.

I read another post that said Gamora similar to Peter, may also be half human. The color of her skin changed in Infinity War and a little in Vol 2 to be more human (How cool would it have been for Zoe to actually look like Zoe in the final love scene with Peter). It makes sense that Gamora and Peter are half human and eventually end up back on earth together.

Young Gamora will eventually remember her love for Peter and go to earth to be with Peter.

James Gunn made it a point to reveal Peter’s age at the end of GOTG vol 3 for a reason. There is approx. a 25 year gap between Young Gamora and Peter. Indicating Peter will be old first and that Gamora will eventually become Peter’s caretaker. Ironically, Peter will probably die in Gamora’s arms.

If you go by just face value, GOTG vol 3 is saying that Gamora and Peter only fell in love because Gamora joined the GOTG first and fell in love by chance. Not true. Gamora and Peter’s love was destiny.

YOUNG GAMORA

“I bet WE were fun.”  - The key word is WE. Young Gamora finally admitted to herself and to Peter out loud that she believes there was something very special between them. What made her get to this point? Peter almost Died in front of her in space. (The entire movie theatre gasped) Similar to GOTG vol 2, Gamora reckons with her feelings for Peter after witnessing his near death.  We are now seeing an “Unspoked Thing” between Young Gamora and Peter.

Since coming to the future, everything Young Gamora does connects back to Peter.  He was the first person she saved during the battle with Thanos in Endgame; similar to Peter, she became a ravager and probably found a father figure in Stakar; she is money oriented similar to Peter when she first met him.

In vol 2  Drax told Peter he needs to find a woman like him. Young Gamora is just like Peter Quill.

Young Gamora’s character end result is still destined to be loving, supportive and nurturing. Her character development started by the end of vol 3.

Peter on Earth finds Happiness

The GOTG trilogy came to an end. We must now piece together the information given in Volume 1, Volume 2 and volume 3 to answer the questions James Gunn did not directly answer regarding Gamora, Young Gamora and Peter’s future together.

How long can Peter stay with his grandfather? (Peter is now 45 and his grandfather is old) Will Young Gamora come back to start a relationship with him? Will Peter start a new relationship with someone new? Will Peter find the old Gamora that died in the magic mountain? Will Peter end up alone?

Gamora and Peter mirror each other so much throughout the trilogy. When Peter discovered his super powers, I started looking for Gamora’s superpowers. It revealed itself when Gamora used her premonition and told Peter to go to Ego’s Planet – The final Results were Peter found a sister, Peter found the murderer of his mother and most importantly happiness with Gamora.

In gotg vol 3 Young Gamora took a long thoughtful look at a picture of Peter as a child with his Grandfather. She held on to the picture and then encouraged Peter to go back to Earth. Why was she so intrigued by the picture? Because it somehow connects back to her future with Peter. What will Peter find there? I believe he finds his Grand Father, a child, and happiness with his soulmate Gamora (She will have lost her looks. a callback to Nebula's appearance of broken- testing Peter's love for her.)

The way Peter and Gamora look at each other at the end of GOTG vol 1 said it all. They are soulmates and destined to be together for an eternity.

Thinking about all the unanswered questions GOTG v.3 left us with regarding Gamora and Peter's eternal love!

It is upsetting that you still have to speculate even after the trilogy is over.

Gamora and Peter Eternal Love Gotg

I have so many thoughts about the GOTG 3 - Gamora and Peter. (Let me say Zoe and Chris did an incredible job with this love story. I can’t image anyone else playing their roles) I just wished they had MORE screen time. Many parts of Peter and Gamora’s relationship happened off screen. I was hoping for more direct answers regarding Gamora and Peter's relationship, while Zoe and Chris playing each respective role.

Here are my conclusions regarding Gamora and Peter’s relationship: Keep in mind Peter is 45 years old; Young Gamora is now at least 15 years or more younger than Peter.

I will start with my favorite moment in the movie. I felt that once Peter saw how dark the Young Gamora was, he wanted to remove that dark murderous Thanos energy more so than winning her love back. After seeing this darker side, Peter made a powerful statement to Young Gamora that was validated later in the movie. Peter told Young Gamora all the positive characteristics that the Gamora he loved had - Kindness and more importantly she wanted to help children.  HE STILL BELIEVED THOSE CHARACTERISTICS WERE IN YOUNG GAMORA. This was proven later in the movie when Young Gamora was enthusiastically helping the children escape to Knowhere.  Peter watched her help the children with joy on his face. He never gave up on who her character really was and loved her unconditionally. Young Gamora’s positive self development was initiated because of Peter’s unconditional love for her.

Gamora & Young Gamora has some level of psychic abilities with Peter. When Young Gamora looked at that picture of Peter and his family from earth, she sensed Peter needed to go back to earth to find his family.  The original Gamora showed this with encouraging Peter to go to Egos planet.

Gamora joining the Ravagers is direct connection to Peter. He was a ravager when she met and fell in love with him. She is with them for a reason.

Young Gamora will eventually come back to Peter, and they will become a couple. At the end of the movie, she hesitated walking away from Peter. That says a lot. Peter’s charm got to her.

Peter’s’ Grandfather symbolizes Peter; he will live a humble life; he will live to be an old man hopefully with Gamora by his side.
